Flamingo Bowling

Muse's new album will be out July 3rd.
Reports are that the album has leeked on the internet (whats new?)... anyways if anyone finds it let me know.
In an interview, here is what was said on the new album.
According to a recent interview given by Muse to Toazted.com and Mtv.com, here is a description of some of the songs and their position in the tracklis... the interview has sense been taken down... but well get ready to be amazed again soon...
1. Take A Bow
This opening song calls on world leaders to take responsibility for their actions. Starting off as a classical piece before moving into a techno mid-section and an "apocalyptic rock" ending. A 'climax' according to Matt.
2. Starlight
A simple love song - potential single.
? Supermassive Black Hole
Funky disco song inspired by Belgian bands like Millionnaire.
? Soldier's Poem
Sounds like a Christmas song - Sweet nice short song with vintage jazz instruments (double bass). Composed during the Absolution sessions and completely reworked for a less heavier sound.
? Invincible
Very slow and optimistic song with a tapping guitar solo in the middle (not that hard to play as it seems to be - according to Matt himself)
? City of Delusion
Eastern folky song with strings. Matt's favourite arrangement on the album.
? Knights of Cydonia
Inspired by Italian composer Ennio Morricone's soundtracks ('The Good, The Bad & The Ugly' and 'The Untouchables'... ).
11. Untitled
The band describes a Mexican style introduction for this song, which is closing the album.

So Orlando... not a town which intrigues me. So there I was it was 5PM on a Wednesday and I wandered.. what should I do this evening... I could stay in the room... read a book. Ha thats not really me when I'm away from the house... So after a little web search I found Improve.
Some Comedy sounded good. So I headed down town...
Upon arrival I found out it was a contest. $700 on the line. Hmm what to do? I've never done stand up, but figured hey.. why not?
Next thing I know I'm there scribbling down notes... for I was on in an hour. Thoughts of NASA, East Tennessee, Basketball, and Canada began to flow. Soon I was on stage, and the audience of over 100 gave me some decent laughs.
I just can't believe I did it. Not just anywhere but on the stage where the likes of Pauli Shore, Seinfeld and others have stood. Been there done that now... Half the comics couldn't believe I'd never done it before.. and all were amazed I wrote it all upon arrival.
Sorry yall couldnt make it... I had another comic tape it... (ha like I am one) ... hope to get it on here sometime.
When I turn 65 I'm going to come back here and try that again, and die on the spot. No wait I want to be 100 when I die.

So a question? Is there always a full moon on Nisan 14?
Answer (Containing more astronomy than you ever wanted to know...): The beginning of a month on the Jewish calendar starts with the visual new moon. Therefore Nisan 14, would be 14 days after the new moon (when the moon visually appears new). (Note that Nisan is the first month of the Jewish calendar, and the days start at sunset... Therefore it would be the 14th day of the Jewish Year). From one Full Moon to the next, the number of days in one lunation can vary between 29.272 and 29.833 days. taking half of this takes us to 14.6 days to 14.9 days... (The true Full Moon may differ from this by up to about 14.5 hours, due to the normal irregularity in the Moon's Keplerian orbit, and due to the periodic perturbations on that Keplerian orbit by the Sun, the equatorial bulge of Earth, and nearby planets). Therefore the actual day of the memorial may not be exactly the day of the full moon where you are (but its so close it will look full).
Another odd fact: The Jewish calendar is on a 19 year cycle... therefore, memorial dates should be on the same day every 19 years. This is what I'm understanding at least... its confusing, but it is confusing only because we go off a solar calendar (365 1/4 days in a year... 12 months) and the Jewish calendar is lunar (12.4 lunar months)
Want to hurt your head... read this. That’s also why we can have "once in a blue moon."
Does the moon always the same on a full moon? No actually it can look very different because of the moon being either at the Perigee and Apogee of its orbit. Interested? Learn More.
Yep we had bugs... but now you have your proper java script plugins... now you can enjoy your pretty role overs, and don't have to worry about the little error on page message. One more step toward the final Miscosntrued Thoguhts....
Next week.. is food week. We'll see where that takes us.
So Looking over the various individuals i've had take the Temperment sorter (personality test, it works out as follows)
Guarians 13
Artisan 12
Idealist 6
Rationals 6
This is expected since there are fewer Idealist and Rationals in the world and more Guardians than anything.
As far as types, there were 12 of the 16 that showed up.
The 4 that didn't
ENFJ Teacher Idealist Examples: Oprah Winfrey, Billy Graham
INFJ Counselors Idealist Examples: Ghandi, Elenor Roosevelt
INTJ Masterminds Rational Examples: Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking
ENTJ Field Marshall Rational Examples: Bill Gates, Napoleon
And finally the types which show up the most of those I know who have taken this... (Who's most with the Misconstrued Thought Mentality?) (There were 5 of each below almost half of those who took the test)
ENFP - Champion Examples: Tommy Bruce, Javann Jones, Christin Shade
ISTJ - Protector Examples: Darcie Myers, Stephanie Erdeljack
ESTP - Promoter Examples: Jason Saylor, Mike Erdeljack, Jared Flint
So anyways... add your own analysis or thoughts.
And if you haven't take it, go take the personality test, and add your results.
So ever since I was a kid the large clap of thunder that often sends people reeling, has always taken me to the window, or outside into mud puddles to play. I still remember playing in the lil creek that would form to the side of our house in a big rain storm. I'd head out, lightening and all, at least until mom saw it.
Anyways, here 22 years later is anything different??
No not at all. So Friday bad storms were headed into Alabama. I called up one of the individuals in the NASA Weather Environments group to see if he was storm chasing. He was, and the chase was on.
We headed to North Mississippi where it was a sunny day, when a general gloominess but nothing major. To the untrained eye (mine) it appeared nothing was going to happen. Yet in a matter of an hour, things changed quickly. Black skies grew, and we found ourselves racing for the Alabama line, to be on the East side of the storm (to prevent being trapped away from home).
As we sat there, we discovered the Huntsville weather stations had the same plan as us, as they sat in the same parking lot, watching an area which would turn into a tornado. We raced further east, trying to stay ahead of the storm, and as we looked up, we saw an average cloud, turn into a swirling motion, the beginning of a tornado. In a matter of minutes this area swelled from a small cloud to a massive entity moving North East at 50-60 mph. Sirens blaring, we headed ever quicker to the east.
This storm past, another rolled into its place, and the front winds of the down falling cold front hit us with 60-70 mph winds. The winds blew the lens cap I held out of my hands, off never to be seen again. And just standing was nearly impossible. Rains came quickly to, there was nothing much we could do but drive with lighting speed to the east.
We couldn't stay ahead of this storm, lightening, hail, and massive rain fell on us. But I would return home. In fact Huntsville had a nice share of hail and bad weather too. In fact as I drove home, there on the radio it was announced "If you are in your car, escape now! Go lie in a ditch! Now this is what you must do!"
Lie in a ditch? Hmm I would stand and take a few pictures. But the adventure was now over.
See the best picture in the picture section.

So I was reading Time Magazine yesterday. It seems that companies are starting to use Personality Test in their Hiring programs. 89 out of 100 of the Fortune 100 companies use the Jung-Myers-Brigg Test to determine peoples personality.
So before you have to take the test to get a job, how about taking it to see the results.
My type?
ENTP - "Inventor". Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population.
Extroverted (E) 75% Introverted (I) 25%
Intuitive (N) 65.79% Sensing (S) 34.21%
Thinking (T) 57.89% Feeling (F) 42.11%
Perceiving (P) 60% Judging (J) 40%
I'm pretty middle of the road on this stuff... But the inventor does describe me the most.
So why not go take the test yourself.
Post your results, and Jeremy the Psycologist will have a full analysis of the misconstrued community.
Go Take the 53 question test. (Try not to put the middle as much as possible... this means you don't know who you are)

This past weekend I headed up to Washington DC to shoot a wedding for a friend, knowing me I had to see if there were any concerts in the area. Well with great joy I found out that The Orb was playing! That’s right the orb, the fathers of ambient house music.
Thinking of The Orb takes me back to high school when a kid I was studying with gave me their Pomme Fritz album, one of the worst things I had ever heard... hardly music just random noise. But here I am 14 years later, and I flourish on this type music.
In fact hearing The Orb takes me back to my first temp assignment at Bethel, where I met a guy who had every album and single they had ever made (somewhere around 29 albums back then).
But the bigger picture of what this has all made me think of...
Where are those people that I have met in the past hung out with for a couple weeks, and never heard or seen of again... some keeping in touch for several months then they are gone...
Like...
The Orb guy from bethel? He was from Tampa Bay, Julius Richardson or something was his name.
Bob Carney... good times at the beach hung out in Pittsburg a couple times... where is he?
The family that lived in Pennsylvania that I stayed with, they visited here, I visited there, there dad almost broke their kitchen table playing PIT...?
By bro from California who had everything go wrong at Bethel including drilling a hole through his hand. He moved into Nevada, to help where the need was greater around Area 51... ? Never heard from him again.
What about Jared... the kid who could eat 18 pieces of sausage and 34 pancakes for breakfast at Bethel... he was from the Big Island of Hawaii... where is he now?
The Solomans? They were my next door neighbors growing up... moved up to Virginia... hmm boy they were always in trouble..ha.
My friend from Vancouver Island in British Columbia... A major extreme mountain biker... Married a Girl in Switzerland... moved there. Where is he now?
Midge up at Bethel, I worked on his crew. A nice guy to bad he "had a curse"... wonder if he's still at Bethel.
Scott Makin.. grew up with him.. visited him at Bethel... he got married moved to Kentucky.. fell of the face of the earth...
Utah ha ha ha... He was working unassigned when we were out in North Dakota. Think he was a Navajo... he'd laugh at everything... sure he's laughing some where..?
Rene' from North Dakota, think she moved to New York somewhere.. got married? Where is she now?
Those guys from Alaska I stayed with a couple nights... we never really hung out much though.. but wonder if they are still up there... last I heard they were traveling Australia for 6 months.
... and that’s all just scratching the surface... this makes me think of all the friends I've not kept in good touch with...
Where is EVERY one?
