Since it was in the Bible Reading...

We'll have a recap of an old piece since it was in the Bible reading...

Uzzah Wuzza

Uzzah Wuzza
man with the wrong desire
tried to save the ark when it blew a tire

Uzzah Cuzza
he stopped the ark with his hand
didn't get the ark into the land

Uzzah Muzza
thought to much of his arm
didn't get glory but instead only harm

So learn From Uzzah
And his unknown act

Instead with God
Make a life long pact

Oh and plus there will be the bonus of watchin little alan soon... with his own blog. I think we should have polls... and raise the child based on community choice... aka... what should little alan eat today, what should he wear. what should we make his first word. More thoughts on the world...

So a couple of weeks ago we discussed Armpits.. But I think I've stumbled onto another discovery. Well its not a discovery but a theory... based on observation. (The Scientific method.... confused? Be in Halleyville this weekend or Decatur next week and you'll here the most science you've ever heard in a Public Talk "Godly Wisdom in a Scientific World"

Anyways...

We all know that women are much more cold natured than men. I am guessing through all the ages this has been true. Even now more so, women dress ever more scantly while men continue to wear their wool suits long sleeve dress shirts even in the scorching days of summer. It is confusing the men are hot, so the nature of dress makes them hotter. Women are cold, and yet the nature of there dress makes them colder.

What could be the reason for this? Well as we know the role of Men and Women is to be compliments.

Therefore in the grand scheme of things women being cold is a good thing. Why? Well I am basing the continuation of humanity on this fact. The original direction from God fill the earth... and the "Longing (Craving)" the woman would have for the man. What was the reason for this? Cold! That's right... at that point women were stricken with cold noses, cold fingers, cold toes, cold bums...

And where could they find the heat they needed? That's right the man. (Why else would they want to be around them? jk ) It was just one step to make it easier for the man...

So there you have it.. a misconstrued thought for the day...

What are your theories on men always hot women always cold?

A trip to Help our Brothers...

IMG_2518 (Small).JPG

So this weekend we headed down to the Biloxi, MS area to help with the disaster left in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. There is much to do as many homes were severely damaged or destroyed. Many homes are completely being gutted to be refitted. (If you want to wear Bio Hazard suits, there is work in which you get to wear them, preparing for later repairs)... I'll pass ;0) But I hear that work is a real winner with the ladies...

Biohazard man: "Hey I've been wearing a Biohazard suit the last couple of days"

Attractive young lady: "Really?"

Biohazard man: "Yep"

Attractive young lady: "I really think we should get to know each other better"

I believe these were the results of one of the brothers I was speaking with. Anyways, I was working on the roofing crew. We worked on the home above, after getting to work on the hole... we started stripping, and then flashing (who said roofing wasn't fun jk)...

Actually tommy and Phil left after they heard I was gonna be working on the stripping and flashing. But they returned and by the end of the weekend it was like we were all professionals. (OK, i did beat my hand in with a hammer, and cut myself while flashing... so that takes away from the professionalism).

We completed the house, fixed the hole. And the roof and got all the debris from the yard to the road. On this note, I have to say I was impressed with the sisters, they did most the debris removal. Moving large trunks, and libs they worked hard. Also I've never seen a girl in hoop ear ring run a chain saw and take care of business. Pretty impressive.

There is much work to complete down there. And its very enjoyable work because, you meet so many new friends and in no time its as if you have always known them. You may be dead tired from the work, but there is no greater satisfaction than working as a united brother hood.

Oh and there are other bonuses too... along the roads here and there are treasure hunts, just look through the debris and see what you can find. I got a nice pair of biker shorts and a corduroy jacket. ;0) Go join in the fun, much work to do but the rewards will be your own.

The Downward Spiral...

IMG_2516 (Small).JPG

So you may remember my last airplane post....

Well the plane has been restored to its original beauty. And on a Sunny Saturday it decided to go for a fly... Upon release it was realized the reciever was not turned on... what does this mean?

This means the plane was destined for a long voyage to an unknown land...

the plane spiraled higher and higher until alas it had reached its peak... and it began its earthward plumit until

CRASH... into the ground..

so my RC plane career continues to be dismall... we'll see where the future leads us.

There is a replacement plane in place.

College Football? What?

IMG_3788 (Small).JPG

Yes its a rare moment.. its time for a football post. I have to say I'm not much a football person, or sport person being raised in a non Sport Influence house... we instead did math for fun, learned how to safely and scientifically blow up stuff, and learn how to do experiments with electricity...

However I was raised in East Tennessee, and anyone who has ever been to East Tennessee. When fall comes there is only one thing that is everywhere. Bright ugly Orange (I am a VOL fan by the way).

A few facts:

1) The SEC is one of the toughest if not the toughest league out there, most all the SEC teams deserve respect and often earn it.

2) You never know what will happen in college football. (Look at the last week as Alabama crushed Florida, and Tennessee skimmed by LSU... and basically the poles are all up in shambles).

3) College Football leads to some crazy fans with extreme zeal and deep thoughts. (No doubt comments will reflect this).

As a Tennessee fan, I now feel there is a glimmer of hope for the season. But the truth is Georgian next week and Alabama the following week will seal the truth of Tennessee. At least Tennessee has a definite quarterback now....

But what are rankings anyway? (See the Rankings) As we have seen so far this year who ever is on top is soon to fall... therefore Tennessee seems to be in a good position by losing early. (Strange logic)....Yes, your thoughts?
