A Friday of Thought... what do you think.

You know its really odd how women shave all their hair (well most all... except for bald women)... while men don't.

As a man I know shaving makes tougher skin. Last night my sister and I were talking. We were discussing shaving armpits. To me it seems a nearly impossible task, I almost see why the European women have no choice but to let em go. However, as we know American women have shown it is possible.

So my ending thought on all this. The armpits of women (in America) must be much tougher than men's armpit skin. In my mind I think of my armpits as some of the softness skin on my body... the thought of putting a razor on it just instantly brings to mind bleeding, cutting and possible loss of limb and life.

So... is it true? Are women's armpits tougher than men's?

Discuss.

Hmm What to do?

IMG_2506 (Small).JPG

So there is nothing better than just having a random day... What is random?

Going Whitewater rafting down olymic rapids... then...

Climbing a mountain and walking around old Civil War Battle Fields ... then...

Walking around a random small Christian University and going to class rooms and writing "Read Gods Word Daily"... then...

Passing an Auction house and deciding to go in for the free food and wine... then..

Wining a piano at 1/10th the appraised value...

And that ... that is how I ended up with a piano in my house... ha ha. Can I play? No... actually restoring the furniture is more intriguing to me. But I can hear my mom now (I took lessons from 1st to 4th grade)... one day you'll wish you could play...

Ha, maybe this will be incentive for me.

Auctions great fun... I never thought I'd buy a piano after a lil white water rafting Saturday... but I like the statement: "I never know what I might end up doing"

Innocents of Education

Why does the shell twirl outward?
Why did they say the lion was a coward?

What is the tallest kind of tree?
What would it be like to be like a bee?

Why does the moon look big on the horizon?
Why is it they call it Verizon?

How many steps would it take to walk across the ocean?
Why is it I get sick when I read in motion?

Why are the clouds of different kind?
What is it that makes some people blind?

What is the reason I can’t walk on water?
The Sun or Stars which are hotter?

All these question from a child come
When is it we worry that we’ll look dumb?

Lycanthropy its not just for kids anymore

werewolf3.jpg

So after the book study I decided... Hey, this Lycanthropy stuff doesn't sound half bad. It would definitly open an interesting chapter in your life. Just imagine.

"So what have you been up since I saw you last"

"Oh I got some mental disorder and thought I was a bee (you'll have to read the article below)"

"What?"

"Yeah I thought I was a bee, ha boy I sure did make the neighbors upset trampling there flowers, but hey I was just trying to polinate them!"

"Well I've got to get going"

"Why do you have to run. I'm better now, I've not stung anyone in a couple of months"

Yes it would be different. So reading an article on lycanthropy, it appears here are reported cases:

People thinking they are a:

Cat
Horse
Bird
Tiger
Frog
Bees
Wolf
Then Everyones Favorite : The unknown Animal

So who's in I see a Lycanthropy party coming on, and if we are lucky at least one of us will be converted by the end of the evening. What are you coming as? I'll see you there as a monkey (then they can add that to there list).

Ana Friday

CRW_8940 (Small).jpg

So we return to people Friday, as I continue to attempt to return to the old Misconstrued. Why Ana Friday? Well she has been to Canada (one of the great places of the earth)... and hopefully has returned with the Chocolates of the Divine.

But enough about that eh?

I met Ana a couple of years back. She moved here to Huntsville with her brother. She's always got a laugh going and a smile on her face. And she's usually up for most adventures. For instance, about a year ago we ran across the town snapping photos in an attempt to out do the competing team for the most creative photos. While she was on the opposition... and such actions as raising there boxers up a flag pole didn't necessarily put them on the top... it was a good time none the less.

Oh then her first trip hiking. (She's from a "never been camping" type family). She was a trouper up at fall creek falls.

But beware. If you ever go to there house... do not I repeat do not stand on there couch (It was charades I was caught up in the moment). I have to admit that is the only "Sorry I stood on your couch" Card I've ever sent.

But always hospitable, always fun, Ana's a gal who will make you smile to.

(That is unless you are driving like a maniac and almost kill a couple of people and run her off the road. Then she may call in anger. Hey I was just looking down as a passenger (praying) ;0) )

Leave your Ana stories. I figure there should be several, and probably some from those in Canada who just met her in this foreign land too.

A few things I don't understand...

gasprices.gif.gif

OK ... just one. Here in Hunstville since we have seen the rise in gas prices there is a large discrepancy in the price that people are charging. Some stations are charging $3.05 while others charge $2.87. Why? How can there be that much difference from one brand to another, from stores 1 mile away from one another?

gasprice1.png

It is odd, and odd that our gas price system depends so often on odd parts of our society. Sometime hearsay, some times truth.

Its pretty amazing how much gas has gone up in the last couple of years.

price2year.png

But one thing is for certain. At least here in the US, the price is regulated. (Prices watched, price gouging illegal, and there is a reserve in case something such as Katrina occurs to prevent total chaos) (Man it would be rough in Canada).

canada.png

But oh well prices will go down, and then go back up again and then... well maybe we needed more dinosaurs back in the day eh?

Find the price where you are

Keep up with the latest gas news and see when it will be cheaper.

If you wanna better understand the gas market read this article.

So what are you paying? Would you like to rant... its your chance... come one come all.

Your Band could Open for Hanson?

hanson.jpg

So today I open my email to find a message that says. "Your band could open for Hanson". As you know My alter ego Bouybee Uybee is often a mistaken misunderstood genius in the realm of Impromptu to Talentless Noise Rock. (This genre I have just invented to describe Mr. Uybee.

(For those not familiar with Mr. Uybee referre to his album, and the reviews posted about this album).

So is it time Bouybee took to the road, is Hanson the ticket? Ha, there are many places that this great genre of Impromptu to Talentless Noise Rock could go buy Hanson isn't one of them.

It is amazing that a group who went from nobody to stellar with a simple hit like MMM Bopp, continues to have a foot in the world of music. Yet does not their lack of support tell of something for their musical prowess? Well no, but still... In the long list of Vanilla Ice and Right Said Freds... Hanson is going to have a hard time creating a buzz for those wishing to open for them.

In fact, I'm thinking that no one wants to open for them, so they have turned it into a "winning opportunity".

All you misconstrued singers out there... maybe this is the moment you have been waiting for. Prepare to jump on stage... and belt out those hits, forget MMM Bopp... here comes you.

The Thoughts of the Man who Is about to Reap his Reward.

As a boy I sat and squirmed
hoping it be over so I could run
As a teanager I sat and staired
Wanting to be elsewhere and have fun

As a young adult I turned a listening ear
Taking note of the words they said on stage
In my manhood I took down notes
Knowing that this would help me to the next age

As a father I was distracted a bit
Trying to control kids yet learn from the speaker
As an older man I reflected with joy
Knowing the strength it had given me when i was weaker

As a grandfather I looked on with heritage
Knowing that it was this truth that would carry for generations
As a feebile man of many years I commented seldom
But held a knowledge and wisdom from Genesis to revelations

And now in my last meeting I will attend
to the young ones I ask your ear to lend
Grow from that squirming state
And may the truth you never berate

I've been sitting and thinking...

bigtoiletpaper.jpg

Well I've got the Flu or a cold or something... therefore I've had a lot of time to sit around and think if you know what I mean. So my question? Why not a luxury experience in the rest room? I'm talking luxury toilet paper!

So a little research shows it exist.

1) ok there is the basic step of a monogram on your TP... but isn't this just an insult to the family name?

2) How about black toilet paper? That's pretty luxury right? Of course isn't TP white for those late night jaunt to the hiatus? ensuring you can find it as your eyes adjust without turning on the lights?

3) Finally in Japan luxury TP industry is growing 1% ever year with aloe, wetted, scented, super thick etc...

Ah but as for me I don't think I can adjust beyond my generic cheap TP (what ever is on sale).. but for me, two ply is necessity.

A return to normal...

5d-front.jpg

A lot of people have told me they really like the photo section of the site. I have been pretty lax with it this summer. But hope to improve. And for those wandering... yes they are all pictures i've taken and at some point i've been at those places.

And on further Photo news, the first "affordable" full frame digital SLR is coming out. The Canon EOS 5d yet tis still going to be around $3000. But thats a step down from Canons other full frame camera the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II which will run you $8000.

So as we simply drool over those, for now enjoy a return to the photosection.
