OK, today I speak about something we all have to deal with. What exactly is that? Cell phone companies. The fact is we all feel they are out to get us, with there nickle and dimes to millions of dollars methods. Then we all feel our service could be better. But what is the best? Which should you choose?
Well I used to have sprint, but their limited service led me to Verizon.
The key to handling any cell company is knowing the loop holes and talking to managers. Now that I have learned Verizon from the inside out, it honestly is hard to leave.
I've had 9 replacement Motorola phones in the last year (total value over $4000), and I give Verizon credit for one thing, they keep replacing them, over and over. Last month I went over on my minutes, so I went in explained how I wanted to prevent the excessive cost, they tried, and when they couldn't figure it out (after 2 more visits) they gave me a $100 credit.
Then my charger broke, and the phone holster broke, they replaced them no questions asked. So in the end my thoughts?
Verizon, not a bad place to be if you are on top of things and can speak convincingly that you need help (and if you can explain to the people who work there how to fix things, they dont understand). (Plus there coverage is tops... with the exception of maybe in California).
What is the source of my true problems? Motorola? Possibly. But hey there phones are so hackable.

Well I headed down to Pensacola last week... and saw people still reeling from the hurricane of last year. And yet here comes another!
For real info on the coming storm check out
...and their hurricane center.
much better than the weather channel.
And for those interested... looks like we are slightly in the path for tropical storm weather. . (although the high wind opportunity looks less and less) .. forth coming weather reports from Misconstrued reporting.
Remember always wear your metal suited armor when walking in winds exceeding 50 MPH. These are the precautionary steps we plan, here at Misconstrued News... where no news is bad news. (take that however you want)
If you are an old navy person...

For the one who has been Hawed
Tenacious pains from inside
With my mind they will abide
Hoping for them to subside
But ever within they do reside
Making them change I have so tried
Which mind is it that has now lied?
I ever want it to be true
The problems feelings be so few
These things inside are not new
It?s the ocean that is always blue
To know that we both have a clue
What is it that I must do?
Hope and prospect is what I need
On positive thoughts to always feed
And that is what I hope to seed
The expansion of joy I want to breed
Laughing and Smiles never bleed
But maybe reality is we all need greed?

Have you ever swam in the ocean at night?
If you have there is a good chance you have seen what I call one of the most amazing things you can see with you eyes. (OK, I guess that would be a redundant statement... what do you see without your eyes?) I don't never make redundant statement.
I remember the first time I saw this pheneomon, I was with Kevin Rader at Edisto Island (hmm there is a video of that somewhere). Anyways, we were thrashing around in the ocean when we saw an odd glow all around us!
What we are talking about is the glow that can be seen in water as you swim, or as waves crash. This is caused by microorganisms called Dinoflagellates (This isn't some sort of prehistoric effect of late night Dinosaur Taco Bell experiences). No these are phytoplankton found in the ocean. When struck these small creatures (ranging in size from microscopic to 2mm in diameter) the creatures emits a glow (Bio-luminescence).
Bio-luminescence is used to evade predators and acts as a type of burglar alarm defense mechanism in dinoflagellates. Dinoflagellates produce light when the deformation of the cell by minute forces triggers its luminescence. When the cell is disturbed by a predator, it will give a light flash lasting 0.1 to 0.5 seconds. The flash is meant to attract a secondary predator that will be more likely to attack the predator that is trying to consume the dinoflagellate. The light flash also makes the predator jump and worry about other predators attacking it, making the predator less likely to prey on the dinoflagellate.
But how do you enjoy this? Just go for a swim in the ocean on a dark night. Watch the crashing waves, they don't glow because of reflecting the stars. Then thrash in the water, you will find that the terrified dinoflagellates will then put there show on for you...
The question is though... what secondary predator are they drawing towards you?

Well it appears google hopes to raise another 4 billion. I have to say I think this stock is way over valued. But thanks to all those who have sunk there money into this giant, we have many cool tools. For example:
Google maps now has a hybrid button so you can see overlays of satelite photos with the maps as well.
Google Desktop, keep up with all the documents you can't find. My search time at work for a document went from 15 minutes to 15 seconds, amazing!
Google Toolbar.. search online quicker than ever! Nothing touches this! Translate, spell check etc.
Google will even suck the life out of your computer for the good of mankind!
And you can even google with your cell phone!
and more coming all the time...
So don't forget to make the most of other peoples money. Google yourself to death... or to knowledge.
So its been a good week, but everyone has suffered injuries. We went for a canoe trip and in the first rapid Darcie, Mom and Dad Fliped. By the end of the rapid, they were all bleeding, Darcie in the worst shape... but the x-ray proved no broken bones ... but it did look bad.
Meanwhile, after a lil care... my dad was able to remove the hook I rammed up my leg while swimming (cat fish holes... always a good place to swim)
...and then Kathryn, in a desire to join the Myers ways, was able to hit her head... simply in a Mercie... I wanna join the fun fashion.
Good times good times... But we are all recovering... as a happy family here in the emergency room.
Till next time. And as a reminder always keep those Medical Directives up to date.
...I am now on vacation. After some fantastically long stressful weeks at work getting the shuttle home safely. After long hours trying to figure out what is wrong....
After shooting a pictures at a wedding Saturday...
After a public Talk Sunday...
I'm on vacation... And I'm proud to say I slept 10 hours last night in my attempt to recoup as well...
So its vacation... no excitment on here.
Sorry.

So I recieved an email today from Mike (Seems he is ok). However seems he has conjured up some proof that I'm supposed to be a bear lover? Well honestly I'm the one who trained the bear (Mona) to attack Mike. Since here at Misconstruedthoughts we try to see all sides of a story here is his views:

Well Stephanie and Mike took a trip to Alaska this past month. They saw alot of interesting things... (Ya know, Big Trucks n stuff like that) But they also went in pursuit of the supposed Grizzly Bear.
Everyone knows I'm not a believer. And looking at the above photo and this photo (supposedly right before the attack). I still am not sure I belive.
I mean look at those pictures. Did they really fly into a remote part of Alaska, and canoe right up to a grizzly at which point Mike was attacked and Stephanie returned home the Heir of the Erdeljack Estate?
Hmm...
I dunno.
My belief in Grizzly Bears still has not come to fruition.

Well... how many times have you said.... Well that was a bad idea? I heard that several times after our gallop to Krystal for a late night consumption fest.
As you see Javann was in his normal prowess, ready to consume his way to an early grave. Actually I beilieve it was his desire to eat the most Krystals in a very small time that may lead him to that place.
But as for the experiment:

Reggie reported, monsters and other oddities in his dream.
As for me:
I dreamed that Elvis was the lead singer for the Beatles. I was on the set of where they were recording a video, and during A Day in the Life of, during the transition of the songs... they would run from one room to another. There was also the awkward, standing on the back of a couch... having to take a shower with others in the room... and the interesting moment where Brent and Nadine walked in; and Brent was built like some Olympic Athlete.
That was bout it... that and waking up fillin Ill from the Krystals. But the was proved, Krystals (food) will make you have weird dreams.
Anyone else participate?
Here we are at Krystal. For the endevor, the accomplishment.... Javann Jones will eat... How many krystal? Who knows but he has ordered 19 Krystals.
Meanwhile in Nashville Zack and DA will join the masses.
Lookout Monday for a recap... the stomach pains. the bad dreams and more...
Go eat Krystals... find out what happens.

"Jeremy need a hat, or something to drink? He doesn't need anything. He hikes naked in the winter and in a parka in the Summer. Nothing bothers him"
-Guy at work before we walked outside to do an experiment
Jeremy: AC now this was a good invention
Guy at work: I really think its kept alot of people from killing each other.

Its time for an experiment. Everyone is invited to join in.
The Challenge: The effect of food on dreams.
Last night we ate ribs late. This in turn led to some crazy dreams. Reggie Expressed he dreamed something about monsters attacking him. I had an especially vivid dream of nasa closing down. Down to extrmly high Detail.
Have you ever noticed that when you eat certain foods your dreams become more vivid?
So here comes the challenge:
Between today and next monday eat 3-4 Krystal Burgers (or whatever you may consider a sufficient amount for a meal), this has to take place within 30 minutes of you going to bed. Have a pen and paper next to your bed... whenever you wake up during the night or morning, write down what you've been dreaming.
Next monday we'll conclude our test... has it effected your dreaming? Are the worse? More vivid?
Why Krystal you ask? A survey of 3 people, found all agreed that Krystal creates the strangest dreams.
Are you in? Lets do it!
Those interested in a late night eat fest: I propose Late Friday night a mass consumption of Krystals.... are you in? Let me know... we'll choose the krystal and the time... and since krystal has free broadband... we'll give you updates...
