Welcome to the Desert.

Well here in Huntsville, we are in a historic drought. We have now entered the worst category that the weather service gives out. Which means that we are at historic 100 year drought levels. Its not been this bad since the 30s. I feel bad for the farmers, you see corn rolling up and yet another harvest year which will not occur.
We've been watching stuff dry up and die on our farm. Its looking bad...

So was global warming the problem in the 30s, too?

Well I hope it starts raining..and doesn't stop until July 7 for at least a day..:):)
And ya some rain would be nice so that the plants on our land aren't all shriveled up..is sad..the poor azaleas and the magnolia aren't gonna make it. BUt at least the lavender is holding out..:)
