Good Things Come to Those who Wait.. I mean Those who are in Nashville
So some excellent shows coming to the Nashville Area in the next few months... Here is a run down. And some help in how to get tickets. See you at these events (I'm bound to be at some of them... let me know if you are going)
8/17/06 Vast plays in Nashville at the exit in $10
Vast is a one man band... until he tours. His broody music should make for a pretty good show at this great small venue.
9/10/06 She Wants Revenge Plays the Exit In in Nashville $15
This group is a recreation of Joy Division. If you like dark Ambient Dance Music with mono tone voices I'll see you there.
9/13/06 Muse plays at the War Memrial Museum in Nashville $27.50
Tickets Available this SATURDAY!... they have been selling out shows lately...
You can't see a better show these days. (OK maybe radiohead depending on your taste). But the energy is great at these shows... It will be my 7th time seeing them.
9/20/06 Matisyahu and Gomez play in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium $40A jewish regaee rapper and guster a alternative folkish british band. This should prove interesting in the venue voted best in the country 2 of the last 3 years.
9/24/06 Of Montreal plays at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville $15
If the Beatles came back in all there Sgt. Peppers Glory this would be them.
10/04/06 Frank Black plays at the Mercy Lounge $20
Frank Black lead singer of the pixies.. his howling yelps and growling vocals are memorabile always. Never on par to the pixies a good performer.
10/20/06 Blue Man group at the Gaylord Center $50

If you're into Blues, Jonny Lang plays the Ryman Oct. 28. Nicklecreek at the Ryman Sept 23. And some other good acts at the Ryman. Man, that place is nice. Even Nick Lachey is playing there. Let's all go see ex-Mr. Jessica Simpson.

YAY! Nick Lachey!!
I have always wanted to see Blue Man Group, my brother saw them in Chicago and said it was awesome. After the show they will go out and meet the crowd and instead of autographs they touch the wet paint on them and fingerprint your ticket stub. I thought that was neat. Ok so let's go see them!!

9/13 Muse..:) Let's go! Yeah the Blue Man group looks pretty cool too. Maybe some old lady will win tickets on the radio and sell em cheap on ebay..;) And, yeah the Ryman is a great venue. :)Haha they even play fantastic groups like Erasure! ;)You guys gotta catch that one next year...
