Talking Food Again...

So In Febraury we headed to Atlanta to do nothing but gorge ourself on a Good Brazilian meal. Why do I say gorge? Well basically because ... thats what they plead for you to do. There are these people walking around with skewers of lamb chops, prime rib, chicken wrapped in bacon (mmm... chicken wrapped in bacon... lamb chops... prim.e.... sorry started day dreaming). Anyways, its quiet the experience.
They encourage you to visit the salad bar but warn you to go easy on it to save your appetite.... after a few heart of palms.. the meat starts coming... and it is at this point I realized maybe i'm really Brazilian? These people love meat.. and I being raised on a Beef Farm.. well I do to. You have this little disk if you have it flipped over green (green means go...) they keep piling meat on your plate... all kinds...
But plan not to eat a few days before you go to counter the $50 price tag.
But wow.. you'll enjoy it for a long time...
...but then again with our new resolve at the DC this summer.. maybe no one will return to these fine establishments?
Bask in the memories ... (The place where Tremain ate Beef)
So if you go... take your wheelchair... chances are you won't be able to walk out...

AHHHH Fogo De Chao, What an experience!! It is actually quite funny how these men (Gauchos, i think they are called) just keep the meat coming. They could see you had no room on your plate, but there they were standing with a skewer in your face, and you are thinking NO MORE PLEASE, but then you realize your little card is flipped on the green side. So you had to be quick to flip it over if you didnt want anymore. Of all the different types of meat, I think the crowd favorite was Chicken wrapped in Bacon, it was very good!! I dont think we ate all day before that, and that is the best thing to do, you leave there feeling very stuffed. I loved this place!! Good times!

I never ate beef. I do not recall ever having done anything of the sort! I only eat chicken and fish. No beef. Mmmm...the filet mignon wrapped in bacon was good though...smelled good that is. Well should go again. I'd love to smell those meats roasting again. Also, they are tricky because despite the obvious want not to fill up on side foods, the bread there is amazing. It melts in your mouth. Wow!
