To all those lost people out there...

This past weekend I headed up to Washington DC to shoot a wedding for a friend, knowing me I had to see if there were any concerts in the area. Well with great joy I found out that The Orb was playing! That’s right the orb, the fathers of ambient house music.
Thinking of The Orb takes me back to high school when a kid I was studying with gave me their Pomme Fritz album, one of the worst things I had ever heard... hardly music just random noise. But here I am 14 years later, and I flourish on this type music.
In fact hearing The Orb takes me back to my first temp assignment at Bethel, where I met a guy who had every album and single they had ever made (somewhere around 29 albums back then).
But the bigger picture of what this has all made me think of...
Where are those people that I have met in the past hung out with for a couple weeks, and never heard or seen of again... some keeping in touch for several months then they are gone...
Like...
The Orb guy from bethel? He was from Tampa Bay, Julius Richardson or something was his name.
Bob Carney... good times at the beach hung out in Pittsburg a couple times... where is he?
The family that lived in Pennsylvania that I stayed with, they visited here, I visited there, there dad almost broke their kitchen table playing PIT...?
By bro from California who had everything go wrong at Bethel including drilling a hole through his hand. He moved into Nevada, to help where the need was greater around Area 51... ? Never heard from him again.
What about Jared... the kid who could eat 18 pieces of sausage and 34 pancakes for breakfast at Bethel... he was from the Big Island of Hawaii... where is he now?
The Solomans? They were my next door neighbors growing up... moved up to Virginia... hmm boy they were always in trouble..ha.
My friend from Vancouver Island in British Columbia... A major extreme mountain biker... Married a Girl in Switzerland... moved there. Where is he now?
Midge up at Bethel, I worked on his crew. A nice guy to bad he "had a curse"... wonder if he's still at Bethel.
Scott Makin.. grew up with him.. visited him at Bethel... he got married moved to Kentucky.. fell of the face of the earth...
Utah ha ha ha... He was working unassigned when we were out in North Dakota. Think he was a Navajo... he'd laugh at everything... sure he's laughing some where..?
Rene' from North Dakota, think she moved to New York somewhere.. got married? Where is she now?
Those guys from Alaska I stayed with a couple nights... we never really hung out much though.. but wonder if they are still up there... last I heard they were traveling Australia for 6 months.
... and that’s all just scratching the surface... this makes me think of all the friends I've not kept in good touch with...
Where is EVERY one?

Have you considered that perhaps they're all just hiding from you? ;) Or perhaps its a worldwide game of hide-and-seek and everyones just waiting for you to count to 100 and come looking for them.

I think most witnesses have had the same experiences. My theory is that it is bc the system we live in and Jah's organization are opposites.
In Jah's organization we meet so many awesome friends that we want to keep in touch with, but bc we live in this old system it keeps us too busy with basic things so we don't have enough time to keep up with all the people we meet.
So I say we need to fight as hard as we can against it and do our best to keep in contact with ppl from our past :) What do you guys think?

Ha!!! That was exactly what I was thinking about you while your site was down....
By the way was reading that Pierre book to Kenzie the other day and told her it was from you. She said she wants to go see her "Uncle Jammy"

Hmm... yeah I've wondered if people are hiding from me. But so as not to be discouraged, i'm going with Becky's thoughts.
And Amber, tell Kenzie, that she needs to load her parents up in the car and come down and visit Uncle Jammy :)
Good to see you are reading that book to her (her first book... right?) Its a classic

Yep Kenzie was thinking about you a few minutes ago too. She found the book again and started telling me about how her Uncle Jammy bought her that book.
Nope, haven't figured out the bike yet. She was on it about 2 weeks ago and I tried showing her how to work the pedals again, but can't seem to grasp the concept yet. Now that it is warming up though I can work with her more on it.
What about Uncle Jammy packing up his car and coming over to visit us??? I know it is a lot easier to pack up the car with one semi-adult then it is to pack up a car for one adult, one semi-adult, and 2 kids..... ;o)

good point...
ha semi-adult...
I like that.
I'll try to get up there here sometime. I definitly need to.

Bizarre. I almost said that about googling.
Funny quote for all fond of kid stories. My studies kid held up 7 fingers and said: "I know this many things." We asked how many things that was..And he said "I don't know how many.. but I know that many things." Guess ya had to be there..funny kid.
