Its that time of year...

So here I spent a day looking through all the tax laws understanding all the benefits of the long form and the reasons why software is truly needed to do your taxes. When all said and done I think taking the time to investigate all of this will be at least $500 to my benefit. Thank goodness for interest on houses. (Wait that made no sense... but in an odd way it does... the ol tax break for being in debt for a house... makes part of you want to be indebt and the other (more logical) side wanting everything paid for.
But anyways, as you know I'm out to help you. (That is what a civil servant is, correct?)
So here you go TaxAct2005, its free... its easy. and its fun! ok... not really but go-ahead and pretend yourself, you still have to do your taxes.
And speaking of doing your taxes... hey hurry and get those in, I need a paycheck so I can pay my taxes. Yes one of the peculiarities of my job.. I pay taxes to give the government money so they can pay me? Life is confusing (or is it misconstrued).

Ahh Tax time...Kevin really needs to go get ours done soon so we can figure out how much we owe. This year we have no house, day care, or new computer to count off only thing we got is an extra kid. Maybe the fact that we are now a family of 4 and pretty much lived off the entire 2005 year on my income only will help out. Going to have to go house hunting this summer.......

Isnt it nice that we dont really get to pick what the government gets to spend stuff on (like Jerm's nice cushy 5 weeks of vacation a year gets all holidays off, we dont like you job)
the end of the tax form should be a form showing how much of your tax should be used for what... I would probably still not fill it out...
