I would drive that to work (some people at work have laughed at this shortbus idea, but I am slightly serious.
Anybody know of the gas mileage you can get with a bus? Anybody know how to work on diesel engines?

That would be a truly great road trip vehicle, esp for under 3K.
Now, what about AC in that thing? Oh well, any up coming trip would be for snowboarding anyway :)
