Hurricane Time?

Well I headed down to Pensacola last week... and saw people still reeling from the hurricane of last year. And yet here comes another!
For real info on the coming storm check out
...and their hurricane center.
much better than the weather channel.
And for those interested... looks like we are slightly in the path for tropical storm weather. . (although the high wind opportunity looks less and less) .. forth coming weather reports from Misconstrued reporting.
Remember always wear your metal suited armor when walking in winds exceeding 50 MPH. These are the precautionary steps we plan, here at Misconstrued News... where no news is bad news. (take that however you want)

I'm interested to see if New Orleans is still there or if now it's just a part of Lake Pohn-Shar-Train.
I heard the absolute worst case possible hurricane scenario in the US was a Cat 5 vs. New Orleans.
Heard on the weather channel last night: "This could be a catastrophe of armageddon proportions"

The city is already below sea level and is continuing to sink. A hurricane dropping that much water could very well bury the city.

have you seen the effect of oil... crude went up 5 dollars today.. and expect another 5...
thats right gas prices rising.
New Orleans.. needed a good cleanin... hope that one homeless guy that played drums on a empty bucket with his schyzo wife is ok.

aww...yea they were saying New Orleans was like a bowl with the lake, the MIssissippi and the Gulf on three sides of the city-they're predicting that Lake Pontchartrain will become Lake New Orleans because the levees will be breeched and the pumping systems are breaking down...it's estimated that the whole city will be covered in 25 ft of water....I guess we'll have to see

Well it didn't happen...sorta.
Parts of New Orleans are flooded, and the city is pretty banged up....but apparently mobile, biloxi and the coast are much worse.
Yikes.

I find it fun to go out to my yard to find all of the trash for the neighborhood in my lawn. I just love picking up other people's garbage. The ants were (emphasis on were... bug spray) ravaging all of the food in my downed trashcan. That is what I get for not putting it in the garage
no roof damage though, some people in downtown huntsville got a bit of shingle damage
Jerm, ready to go down to the gulf for another reroofing?
