Autumn and Mallory Friday

malaut (Small).JPG

So here we go... two of the coolest gals in Nashville... OK Hendersonville... OK Tennessee.... We'll put it there.

Anyways, its Autumn and Mallory Friday. Recently as we recounted last week, I took a voyage up to the great north and these two gals set sail as well. Good times were to be had, all you have to do is look at last weeks images, and last weeks quotes. But these two are one of a kind.

Sorta like the odd couple, they somehow mesh together and make things happen. They are roomies there in the Hendersonville estate. For certain two creative girls. Both have artistic ability... Autumn even pulls in quilt making. And Mallory, she has a creative flare for the unique art. In fact one of her pieces of art graces my living room (it contains mysterious hidden faces) and has enjoyed such comments such as "You need new friends" "Why did you put that up" and "That is awesome!" The final being what I agree with.

They are both generous and spirtual too. They have given there time by helping the elderly in local homes, they also have a fine share and attitude in the ministry.

These two gals are fun two... up for a new different creative idea. Want to go to Philidelphia? Sure. Want to go eat at as many restaurants as possible? sure. Want to get multiple tickets in the city? Well that wasn't planned. Or Do you want to get paintballs and shoot at each other with slingshots... who cares if its raining? OK only Mallory jumped on that one. Good times.

Oh one final interesting ability, Malory can cry at will! amazing, and very useful. (Plus she can talk to anyone.... actually she'll often disappear off on a conversation with a random person... (often homeless).

Well Mallory and Autumn if you don't know them ur missing out. Fun to be with and good girls...

(oh and they have the perfect taste in music!)... they'll even go to a live techno concert).

Leave ur Comments.

(Oh and get a free donut today to celebrate!)

i think mallory and autumn are the perfect couple. yeah they may get on each other's nerves sometimes, and they don't really hide that from anybody. but as different as they are from each other, they complement each other pretty well too. autumn is conservative and thrifty, and mallory is probably more liberal and dresses pretty awesome.

it's always fun going to their house, because unlike a lot of people they will actually talk to you without the distraction of the tv (unless of course there is a good movie on lifetime). i've got some funny stories about both of em, some of which will not be on this site for their own protection. But I do recall getting in a spit fight with Mallory when i was probably 6 or 7 years old. I think i won when i hocked a nice mucus bomb right in her hair. that felt pretty good, cause i was pretty mad. let's see good autum story... ahh, she was the ONLY girl in our ninth grade design tech class. i can't remember which module we did together, but i do remember discussing titanic pretty in depthly with her that week.

two great female specimens of H'vegas. I'm honored to get the first post.

Keep on rockin the suburbs girls.

Autumn and Mallory! What great friends. Let's see, I meet Autumn first, through the Webers. When I first started studying actually, I made a trip up to Hendersonville with the Webers and Autumn hooked a place up for me to stay. Been tight ever since. And she has the nicest smile. Really brightens your day. Oh, and my dad always calls her Amber.

And then I met Mallory through Autumn at a convention. She had a black dress on. Why I remember that, I don't know. But anyways, Mallory turned out to be just as cool. And she could be a crime boss because she is always getting people to steal mugs for her. And despite what she says, the picture does have hidden faces. Unintentional they may be, but they are there and that makes them cooler.

But anyways, great peeps. I love those gals and feel blessed to have meet their acquaintance.

How exciting it's autumn and mallory friday!!! i love these two girls(well one i sort of have too..ha ha) they deserve a friday dedicated to them. they are both very hard working spirtual people. when ever i have a problem i think im going to go talk this over with autumn and mallory they always seem to know what to do.

now i know that they hate being called a "couple" but they pratically are. More like on old married couple who do get on each others nerves and you begin to wonder how they ended up together but you soon realize that they just mesh. one thing i love is when i go over there and i will be talking to mallory in her room and she will complain about autumn and then ill go talk to autumn and she will complain about mallory. it's great!!!!
all in all these girls are great. and im honored to get at least the 2nd post!

man i got the third post not the second!!!

oh and they have great great music taste!

how could i forget that... so many shows so many shows!

What can I say? As a mother I should feel honored and privileged to have had all three of my kidlets featured on this website now. At least this picture of Autumn is more flattering than the one taken priviously of her brother. (Oh, I forgot the one of her with a Tastycake in her mouth in Philly. Not her best shot). Anyway, having known Autumn all her life, know for a fact that she has "always" been up for a new adventure. Grass has never grown under her feet. She was running at 11 months old. I am also always humbled and amazed at her ability to master anything she puts her mind to (except spelling). She gets that from her father. Her love of music of all sorts also comes from her dad. I'm so happy to call her mine.

And kudos to Mallory. She is one of a few girls I know that knows her way around a kitchen. Most girls can order off a menu, but have no clue how to cook. Not Mallory. She can whip up one mean creme brulee. Her other good talents (some odd) provide me with lots of entertainment. Got to love her.

I'd like to be the first to point out, that my own mother didn't even post on my Friday. And that's how cool Autumn and Mallory are. Mothers post on their Friday. But I digress.

I can't remember when I first met Autumn. A wedding, or something like that, in all honesty, much like most people I meet, I figured she didn't like me and decided from that point on not to be nice to her. No, she didn't do anything to make me believe that, trust me, its all me. Anyway, I remember meeting her again and not remembering who she was, but after I started talking to her, I was like, hey, you're Autumn. You know my sister. . .blah blah blah, yakkity yak and then I KNEW Autumn. I'd share more, but well, I'm not sure if I have more to share.

When I first met Mallory, I also assumed (again) oh she hates me I'll never be friends with her, lets not bother. On a side note, I think I make more friends when I'm not trying, which is probably why I automatically assume that someone's not going to be my friend. . .or something. Either way, I'm a psychological study waiting to happen. I met her at a party at Jerm's house, where I first saw "the" painting. Then again at a Polyphonic Spree concert. And somehow we're friends. . .not really sure how anything happens.

But anyway, they're both awesome people, Autumn is awesome because first, her name is Autumn. I mean seriously, how cool is that? And because she complimented my poor drawing skills. Oh and because she still hasn't insulted me yet. But don't worry, she's trying. And Mallory's cool because honestly, she makes me feel normal. And that's a good thing. Plus, she's immune to caffeine, and has good grammar.

Good people.

They're both great girls. Autumn has paid her rent for the month, but I am still waiting on Mallory. In fact she is last of all of my renters.

Javann, I'd like to point out that although Mallory and I live together and do share a lot of things, we do not share the same mother. Maybe you should think a little more about what you are going to say before you post it

hey who changed the picture?! you girls are so vain... maybe this whole friday thing should be stripped away from you and given to a woodland creature of some sort, perhaps a stingray.

the picture of mallory crying is simultaneously unsettling, and very wonderful.

d.a. don't worry, i'm not saying nothin, just saying.

I just met the girls last summer and I don't know them too well, but I know that they are really easy-going, easy to talk to, all around cool cats! Congrats on yer friday and come and visit us sometime ladies:)

AH!!!! Autumn and Mallory! My dears Sisters! You girls remind me of a grenade. Why you ask? Cuz yall the bomb!!!!! (Quote stolen from J Jones.) any who, i also like tremaine met autumn through the webers. i think we ate at Copelands the first time i met autumn. Mallory i really dont remember. forgive me please because and have alhemizers and appartently and spelling disorder as well. don't know if i spelled it right. anywho. i do belive mallory to be a crime boss. i almost got linched by her and myers one saturday and his house. i almost didnt make it. :( i'm so happy to be alive now. i've prob said to much now. i must move to another location. Sky "NO LONGER FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT"

this is better than birthdays!

and i'll have you all know that i've paid my rent.

This is one of the most frustrating posts that I've ever tried to make. THREE TIMES yesterday, I had something long and complex and inherently D.A. to say about these friends of mine, and THREE TIMES it got closed, deleted, lost, etc. before I could finish it. This is my final attempt, so remember that which I have forgotten:

The key to communication, is brevity.

Autumn is the coolest 65 year old I know.

Mallory...is what I love.

the first time i met autumn, a bunch of us went out to eat after a district convention. since then we've continued to have some great fun outtings. pool parties and bon fires, my first public talk, night of a card game with chips and wagering (with her loss! but she sided with crosley, first mistake!) , and much more. she's an awesome friend, attentive and a good listener...she helped me refine that first talk. i tried to hook her up with a friend, J.A., but she thought his pool antics were a bit too much. plus i think hannah's got it bad for him...and being the great and loving sister that autumn is, she couldn't hurt hannah in such a way. know that you are appreciated and a great example to us all autumn!

mallory is a great friend as well...she's very feeling and understanding. i remember she made me feel better about my quandry by telling me about her experiences. and thats what good friends do. i'll never forget that. plus she let me have her hotdog, and anybody who gives up food for ya, is something special in my book. your kindnesses and thoughtfulnesseses are cherished mallory..

Congrats Autie and Malomar!!! I've known Aut since I was one years old and two weeks when she was born!!! I've laughed and I've cried with her, all to our continuous enjoyment. We still try to talk at least once a week, despite living 500 miles away from each other and only getting to see each other maybe once a year. That's the cool thing, though, about having awesome cousins that live in a different part of the states, you get to meet their cool friends, which is how I met Mallory. Mallory and Autumn are like the little sisters my parents never graced me with. Although I find myself being quite envious of their abilities, and always trying to copy their genius, I look to them as to how I could step beyond my shell and into the outer kind. I luv you guys and congrats on your rockin Friday!!!G

autumn and mallory are two of the most beautiful girls-inside and out. they are laid back, artistic, and very fun to be around. upbuliding and interesting conversation is never lacking and neither is a good time with lots of laughter :)

I can't remember when I first met Autumn. For a while we were pen pals when we were kids, but as we got older we lost touch (I think mainly due to the fact I'm awful at writing). I would still occasionally see Autumn through her cousin (Gabs-see above). Anyways, I have always thought Autumn was a very nice, down to earth, spiritual person.
I think I briefly met Mallory when she visited up here with Autumn once, but then again last fall at their bon fire. I tagged along with Autumn's cousin (my roommate) and we ended up staying with Mallory for a night. Mallory was very friendly and opened her home for me even though she didn't really know me, so that makes her pretty awesome in my book.
:)

I must confess, very rarely do I actually enter Misconstrued Thoughts (although each time it's a pleasure with many giggle-worthy items). So I was delighted to see a big ol picture of Autumn and Mallory's face grace the screen when I did. Anyhow, Mallory and Autumn are both very good friends of mine. What's sad is we live in the same city and attend the same Hall except I'm in West (the best) and they are in East (the least). And yet we hardly get to see each other. But each time we do it's a ball.
Somehow Autumn and I can laugh about anything. Well it's usually Autumn pointing and laughing AT me. But she has been there through all of the fun times along with the bad...and extra extra bad. Always a listening ear, with the yucky spiritual take on things you sometimes just don't want to hear, but always glad you did once she said it. Yet surprisingly off the cuff at times. I went to school with her since the sixth grade, so sometimes we get together and just laugh about all the years of memories, and all the years of hairstyles she's been through.. I've seen Autumn tap dance (oh yeah), I've got a picture of her hanging off a 15 foot dropoff screaming for help (I stopped to take the picture first), she made fun of my ailing grandpa one time (and you thought she was always sweet) and more stories than there's enough room for from Art class. Autumn's family is one that your one hundred percent comfortable around. The kind of family that your jealous of, but proud to know that a family like that actually exists. If they've got a biscuit, you can have half. Autumn is one of those people that if I was ever on one of those "Anna Majors, this is your life" shows, I would totally hear her voice behind curtain number one.
Sadly, I didn't get to go to school with Mallory so there is not as much to say. But I am proabably more like Mallory. There have been many conversations with Mallory that were so deep, so emotionally deep that you realize that she has either been through a lot or she really gets people (I'm sure it's both). She's an amazing artist, unexpectedly witty and superbly well-read. It's hard to remember that she's not 25 because she comes off so very mature. She's got impressive ukeleili (probably mispelled) skills and an incredible sense of style. You never know what she'll do next. I mean how many people do you know that buy a doll head (no torso) and makes it into an insence burner and one that freaks you out to boot? I'll never have all the knowledge of music that Mallory does, well maybe if she stops listening from now on and that's all I do for the thousand year reign. Mallory is the kind of person that you can shoot straight with because she can handle it and return with an equally honesthearted comment. She, and Autumn, always strive to put Jehovah first. It truly is a joy to be friends with her. (I would hope Mallory would be behind curtain number two).

*My only complaint about the two is that, in case they forgot, they live in Tennesee. So it wouldn't hurt to embrace a little more Southern culture now and then. And stop making fun of my accent. Because I really mean it when I say "I love y'all"

hmmm, that's a mighty large entry. Well. I'm just making up for never posting anything before.
