A look into the past...
Well back in Greeneville for the weekend. And actually I was shown somethin I have never seen before, the Old Myers - Trobaugh grave yard. My great great grandparents through great great great great grandparents are buried there..... they moved into Greeneville about 1802 from Virginia.
Now that I've looked into my Dad's side of the family... seems they are roughly... 75% german 20% english-irish and 5% french.
And as for jobs... well over and over showing up is farmers, school teachers, and ministers (Lutheran, Methodist, Quaker).
So there ya have it fiting my dad was a teacher, the PO in the hall (ie Minister), and well a farmer... its in our blood.
Not found any rocket scientist yet... but hey look at all that German heritage.
