Creative Writing Thursday (Early Morning Thoughts)

The End of Break

Lifeless bodies standing by the road
Doing everything that has to be told

Blank stares gazing down the street
Sit still, spell correct, know the history of Crete

Gaping mouths take in the early morning air
Fear of bullies and peer pressure, Does anyone really care?

Conforming personalities assimulated into mankind
Forget your way of thinking you just need to mind

Yellow tinges coming will contaminate your morning
Get on the bus for a trip to another day of scorning

Add your creative writing and Dont forget to play Today's Trivia.

an ode to greeneville sucking at football

oh how greeneville sucks...
let me count the ways...
they throw and their recevier ducks...
it's intercepted by a bays...
they try to run...
and it is stopped...
And by my 2 year old son!
their running game flopped...
they try to keep us from scoring...
but we run all over their line....
the game starts to get boring...
cause we score every time...
yes greeneville sucks at this game...
they're pansies and they cry...
their playing style is lame...
against cookeville they shouldn't even try...

cause cookeville rules...
and greeneville sucks!

I can feel us breaking apart,
and its ripping out my heart.
I still remember
back in November,
you couldn't tell us apart.
drinking after each other walking in the park,
if you'd just hold my hand
I would be your number one fan.
Nothing felt better than just being your man.
hearing you say, "You know I understand."
Then together forever we'd plan,
a life that encompassed you and me,
a journey guided by the compass of you and me.
it felt so right, it just had to be
I knew in my heart that you were the one for me.
Back then I couldn't do any wrong,
and you made me think life was a song,
a melody composed for us to sing along.
But then I noticed things were getting sour.
Every conversation was a struggle for power.
Before we couldn't be apart for an hour,
suddenly we wouldn't talk for weeks.
And when we speak,
it would never be in peace,
warring, arguing constantly.
I promised I would never throw hands,
but the situation was more than I could stand,
and I decided I would prove I was a man.
When I walked out the door,
I felt something I'd never felt before.
I knew it was over
I looked back once over my shoulder,
and kept walking on into the night.
I wish I could make things right,
get this relationship out of the dark into the light,
but its over.

Unaware

The eyes of those you want to help
Gaze helplessly as you pull another
How dare this situation come about
When there are so few years here
To which more should be added
Your fight will not last as long as you will it
And your arms cannot hold both hearts to safety
So as you make your hard decision
Remember that saving one life
Is worth more than mourning gains

For a mother who had to choose,
and leave one child behind

Help Tsunami Victims In Any Way You Can

above link to home page is a few of the prob over 50 poems i have wrote over the last 3-4 years

That sentiment about the tsunami victim who had to chose a child is put together very well. Good job.

D.A.

Sendin out a challenge to that first creative writing. Greenville might suck but come on down to A/Hville. Anytime u cookville guys want some. BRING IT!!!!! A/Hville rules, Cookville will suck on this day in the trenches. It may not rythme but I think u get the freakin point!!!!!

What the heck is A/Hville? Last I checked there was no A/Hville. Do you mean Athens and Hunstville? If so, why not just type it?

SHUTUP JAVANN!!!! What do u care, your too chicken to play football anyway. Why don't you go play some softball or somethin!!!

those are awful big words for an awful small "man", BUFF....

anybody notice that Josh is actually yelling his name "BUFF"

just take a look at the uppercase letters bullet at the "Etiquette in the Electronic World" web page

i have to agree with the fellow named buff, the debate over whether greeneville or cookeville is the better team is rather moot. But, then again, we have to figure out who is second and third behind the Huntsville-Athens alliance.

i agree with D.A., nice work little sis.

Mongo Strong must not know us. And that's why he never answered our challenge. But if Nivek (whomever he or she is) would like to find out why we haven't been beaten in two years, we are readily available. Even without one of our key players. (Stupid Tremaine had to go and get hurt)

mongo not afraid of little buff... you play little weenie teams from alabama... just like the vols play little weenie crimson tide and win... name place between here and there and we beat you... 3 1/2 hours too long a drive for either team... and be careful little man... mongo make buff little slave girl to make mongo biscuits and
gravy when mongo hungry....

Like I said, mongo weak doesn't know us. We have played 6 teams in the so called great state of TN and the only thing that was great was the ride back home to BAMA. So we own TN, just like buff will own mongo weak on the football field. As the great SKY says, "You like apples, how you like them apples?"

Hey BUFF, you guys really want to play? Just let us know and we'll try to get a game together. I won't be as confident as mongo, but we can really only find a good game with Greeneville (we destroy most teams we play), so playing somebody good will be nice. We'd like to try to find an inbetween place, because it seriously is 3 1/2 hours to get down there, and it would be difficult to get guys to go that far. Just let us know and we'll be there!

mongo weak? last person call mongo weak end up broken in two... and mongo sure all 6 teams you play were in the 12 to 13 year olds division... BUFF should be ashamed of herself...
apples? mongo like apples... maybe mongo make little slave girl BUFF make him apple sauce instead of buscuits and gravy... mmm mmm, yum yum...

Aight man. Let me talk to my boys and we will do this. And I'm sorry mongo weak. Ur right. Every team we played in TN was like playin 12 and 13 year olds. Probably all there is in TN. I promise keats it will be one of the most physical game ya'll have played. But I don't care if ya'll smoke us. I'm comin after mongo. You say "Little Buff" mongo. We gonna see how you like bein hit by a solid 6'0 250 lb train. CHU CHU
