So what will #3 be like?

Well I know you've been waiting... you've been waiting since 1977. How did Darth Vader become who he is? Next year you will know, but if you want a trailor of things to come, go see The Incredibles tonight (no doubt it will be good, PIxar does a good job at films).
Before the movie you can lookforward to a trailor for Star Wars #3! So don't miss this oportunity to find out about Revenge of the Syth. Lets just hope JarJar, and his whole Species find their end (they must because from episode 4 on there are no JarJars!)
Comments
Gonna be a sad one. All the Jedi are gonna die and whatnot.

This one is going to be the best!
Yoda vs. The Emperor ( guess who wins, hehe).
Yep, all the jedi perish in this one.

I'll be one of the crazy people seeing it at midnight like the last two. Good times.

What will the trailer be like!? Let me just tell you. It was...oh wait. That's right. Our craptacular cinemaplex decided not to show the trailer! Those idiots. And then we complain and the manager is all like, "follow me to see the trailer." Does he come through with the goods? NO! I was ripped off! Well, actually the movie was pretty good. But I want my Star Wars! It is at this point I realize how much of a fanboy I am. I'm a loser. I should be living in my parent's basement right now.

Hey Tremaine, me and Lea live in our parents basement
Posted by: judi | November 6, 2004 12:56 AM
I saw the Incredibles tonight and it ruled, just so everyone knows. No trailer here either, however.

I too saw the incredibles tonight.....and the trailer. Too bad you guys missed it. Ah well soon enough and you can actually see the movie.
Posted by: lea | November 6, 2004 01:43 AM
So yes indeed... here i go and endorse this whole star wars things... just to be ripped. So forget you starwars... you've produced 2 mediocre movies so far in the return, and honestly i have doubt you can pull off the next movie. So there... (sorry speaking in anger...)
Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering
oh no the evil empire is taking me over... but as Javann brought out last night after the incredibles.. i could fit the bill of a evil bad guy... (mad scientist... who uses resources ... blah blah blah)
anyways the incredibles is hilarious... true i think i embaresed my group for I laughed out loud so many times when no one else was laughing but ah well...
its good STuff!
check it out!
This gets a High rating here on misconstrued...

Hey Judi and Lea. My parents don't have a basement. Ask your parents if I can move into your guys' basement. We could watch Star Wars all day and debate whether Gredo shots first or not (he does shoot first by the way). And sorry if I critized living with parents. Since I moved out I have been overly critical of people who live with their parents just because I can now. But not to worry. I shall probably move back in with my parents soon enough because I'm sick of microwave food.

Regardless of what you thought of the first two (and despite Jar Jar and the clunkiness of the love story in AoTC, I thought they rocked otherwise) this one looks like it is gonna be absolutely serious and dark. Everyone I have shown the trailer to including folks who weren't mega enthused with TPM and AoTC have absoultely loved it. Anyhoo... *a few spoilers for the movie ahead, nothing major though*
The montage at the beginning where Alec Guiness's Obi Wan is telling Luke about Vader's fall before cutting to Anakin with his new Darth Maul eyes makes everything come full circle so nicely.
My fave shots are Tarfful and his wookie army (so good to see Chewy again!), Anakin and Obi Wan fighting in front of the sunset, Anakin choking Obi Wan *while holding down his right arm (cannot wait to see how Ob1 gets out of that grip! I am looking forward to seeing that whiny punk get a good kick in the pants)* and Tion Meddon's snarl (the pale alien with the scary face, he is actually a good guy who helps hide Obi Wan and Padme for awhile).
Reports say Mace confronts Sidious in his office and that's when Sid's face turns all icky and pale as you see in the trailer. Here's hoping Mace at least hurts him bad before Sidious wins. Bah.
Only disappointment was zero General Grevious. But I guess with three trailers (yes, there are supposedly gonna be 3 trailers this time) they have to save him a bit. They could have at least shown his face though or eyes moving around.
Oh well, best teaser ever.

I have just returned from The Incredibles... and it was ... incredible hehe
It was a great movie, I cried, I laughed, I jumped, I awwwwwed....
I really did enjoy it, and so did the people in front of us laughing at my laughing
Now I want a high-stepping sheep!
And on the subject of STARWARS
It is the last episode and we must go with a bang, midnight, opening night, in role play
Steven Wallace as Jango Fett
Luke Wallace as Boba Fett
Tracey Wallace as Padme/Amidala
Heather Maxwell as JarJar Binks
(kim and jeremy don't know yet)
Kimberly Hilliard as Princess Leia
Jeremy Hilliard as Mace Windu(start tannning)
So be prepared for the SITH, not the SIST

Hurry and pick your role!
Posted by: Trashy | November 6, 2004 11:09 PM
Thanks Trace. You get to dress as Padme/Amidala and Kim gets to go as Lea(although I don't envy her the hair do) and I get to be Jar Jar? I want to pick again. Though whatever I have to be, I will definitely be there with you when it opens!

Sorry Jeremy, but I already got the tan down, all I need to do is shave my head. But hey, you can be that other guy who has a cone head. He's cool, and he's a counsular. Oooooohhh, aaaaahhh!!

I hate to interrupt the party here but I've got some nice news. Muse, Mercy Lounge, Nashville, November 30. See? Nice.

Posted by: itzjerm | November 7, 2004 09:23 PM
John, where are you finding this about Muse? I don't see it on either Pollstar or the Mercy Lounge site. Is it on their official site? If so, CURSES!!! Alex and I will be traveling cross country at that time.
Which reminds me...Canadians, are you guys up for hanging out with and putting up a couple of wandering southern boys Thanksgiving weekend? Drop me a line and let me know.

If I was terminally ill, and got picked for the Make A Wish Foundation
I would ask to see Muse in concert and attend dressed as Tombraider

Okay, so I saw the trailer finally. I had to sneak back into the theatre today because I didn't think it was right to buy a ticket just to see the trailer. But, I must say, it does look pretty sweet (but so did Episodes I and II and they didn't exactly deliver). And it is darker. And that might help out. ESB was the darkest of the OT and the best so maybe that will work with this one as well. So, at the rish of sounding even more nerdy, rank your SW movies from best to worst.
1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Return of the Jedi
3. A New Hope
4. The Phantom Menace
5. Attack of the Clones

I got the date off their official site so I'm guessing the Mercy site'll come around sometime. Jem is playing there the night before. I've heard her EP and it's kinda cute.
