Thinking Back to What Misconstrued Encouraged?...

So what all has everyone had a share in ... since the inception of misconstrued...

Well there is the Annual Misconstrued Softball Game

Which just took place again! Of course it doesnt seem people were giving there all? ... oh wait maybe it was these people
... ah well least they'll be rested for next years annual game.

Of course there was the spectacular live performance by Subverse Rhyscology, with the instant hit DARCIE!

Scavanger Huntsville! The oddest Scavenger hunt to strike the planet.

Oh and who could forget the Mars party... bringing astronomy to the masses. (or mass hysteria...)

Then there was the Misconstrued Video Contest... riddled with controversy. Awards were given, and prophecy fulfilled, with the comment "most likely to stay on misconstruedthoughts" Hmm doubt we see round two of that contest, but it was fun while it lasted...

There were the football games which resulted in pain for many...

Giving up active sport... Misconstrued moved on to cheerleading...

There was the Urban Spelunking...they pulled this geocache for the danger I think...

There were the two rounds of rib eating contest Round 1 & Round 2

There was the breaking of world records in Hawaii!

There was the newly invented holiday... National Eat A Bowl of Cereal Simultaneously With People You hardly Know DAy... which btw turned into National Nausea Day.

There was the camping and the mud...

There was the release of our own compilation CD, with all Misconstrued Reader Produced Music.

Wow! And all of this in the last year?! Amazing. Truly Amazing, I think I'm tired now that I realize this was just one year. Whew... Oh well time to get around to another one. Life aint it grand?!

Is that Emily sitting on her duff in the the middle of the outfield? For shame!

D.A.

Hey, it's what she does best. She's been practicing for years.

Yes D.A., I hang my head in shame. But for more than skill, I was there providing emotional support for my team...and to embarress myself by showing my lack of hand-eye coordination when it was my turn to bat =) As far as sitting in the outfield, don't worry...had the ball come my way, I'm sure my cat-like reflexes would have kicked in for the catch...or not. After all, can't you tell by the look on my face that I was to busy contemplateing the great mysteries of life to worry with softball?

Emily, you look more like you were contemplating the ill effects of a bad taco on your digestive system than matters of the universe. It's ok. We understand.

Another softball game needs to be put together. Its been so long since I've played. I miss it. Perhaps we could dovetail the Knox/Nash/Hunts Monopoly/Trivial Pursuit Challenges into a weekend with that game. It would give the nerds and the jocks a chance to flex their muscles. I have to warn you though...check out the pic on TKF today and you will see that I have experience with both parties.

Sigh.

Take me out to the ballgame.
