All right, we (Jeremy and myself) buy tickets to a show on Long Island. We then buy plane tickets. Two days before our flight, the show gets canceled and moved to Jersey. We, being angry, create this little "Failed Day" website on Tripod's server. Within three hours it's got 800 hits and is shut down for surpassing the monthly allotment of bandwidth. By the time we leave a day and a half later, we've got a couple thousand hits. There's a possibility that a few thousand people stranded on Long Island are going to show up at a state park on Long Island, and being really mad as they are, we were afraid they might want to go burn down Calverton or something (although we wanted to do that also). So, we leave hoping that we're still going to be free men when we get back. Assuming we get back.

We meet at the airport and get on a plane to Huston, Texas. The flight people are like, "hey, morons" and made us get off. We tried it again a while later and got on the correct plane. We eventually got to New York and started driving around looking for a Target. After a long, long time, we found one. I bought a sleeping bag that was two feet to short for me. It was cold this weekend, and I spent of it being just that. Cold. Stupid!
Saturday, June 7th
We wake up and head to Jersey. We flew into Long Island to avoid the traffic, yet the reschedule made that backfire, as too now we had to drive all the way through the city. We got to Giants Stadium and we were hanging out with someone who knew what failed day was, and was happy to meet us. She was cool. Anyway, Jeremy spent 5 bucks on a poncho and we stood in the cold rain. for 11 hours. After we finally left, we went and got dinner/breakfast at about 2:00 AM at this little diner somewhere on Long Island. It was unusually busy, and we had these really awesome gyros. We got back to our tent to find it flooded, along with a couple articles of my clothing. We finally got to bed sometime after 3:00.
Sunday, June 8th
Failed Day was scheduled to happen at 1:00 PM. We woke up at 12:30, got ready and headed out. We arrived at the park about an hour and a half late. Only a few people were there. It seemed as though we weren't going to get arrested. We got some pizza (that was awesome pizza), went to Orient Beach and ate the pizza, and I looked at all the Asian ladies. At this point, out of boredom, we drove around the mall in Calverton offering people a song for a dollar. No one accepted. We then started offering songs for free, and still no one accepted. People in NY are uptight! We eventually left when we saw mall security heading our way.

Last day! We had absolutely nothing to do, so we went sight seeing. We saw awesome things like the biggest parking lot on the east cost (wow), and some 14-year-old kid swimming naked in a bay. It wasn't a nude beach. It was right behind some houses. We took a photo. Eventually we got on our privet, rock star, hip, alternative and cool jet and went home. on flight number 2135.
