Name a Dog Monday
Welcome to the first unannual name a dog contest on misconstruedthoughts. Jeremy and Kim (from 2 Fridays ago) have expanded their family to include a puppy. This Black Lab/German Shepard Mix needs a name. What is known he can swim (thrown in pool yesterday). He sleeps alot, and he has a hacking cough. (oh and he looks more lab than shepard).

Me and Lea always say that when we get a dog we'll name it a human name. Something that nobody else would name their dog like Peter or Ashley. lol. Doug is another good one.

Jeremy! You didnt put the name IIIIIII suggested! And everyone who doesnt pick it isnt cool. Okay wait I didnt mean that cause that would include my mom because she hates that name. I actually like Doug, reminds me of the cartoon. Okay Jeremy, put my name for the doggie on here...thanks...

So next month is my baby's name huh? Sounds cool.
But for today's post we'll get some good names from Kevin - if he posts. Here are some of myu thoughts though:
Dufus (Great name for dumb dogs)
Igmo (Another great stupid dog name)
Stinky (Plenty of reasons)
Mono (Since he sleeps a lot)
And that's all I can think of. I have better names for cats (as my cat is Lucifer) because dogs are boring and usually incredibly stupid.

What do you mean you have better names for cats. That was my cat which I named. As for Kevin's suggestions I will let you know right now he will list every alcoholic name he could think of for the dog (Corona, Bud, Jack, etc.

Due to the hacking cough, Phlem (is that how it's spelled?). Or Rip in honor of Rip Van Winkle (He's the one who sleep a lot, right?). As for swimming, I would go with Spitz after Mark Spitz the 4 time Gold medalist. Or since he is a mix, why not Sir Mix A Lot. He likes big b...well, nevermind.

I'd think do to the hacking cough, you'd name Hacker, or keeping with the technological feel, name him the DotCom, or DoubleU. Call him CH125 which is the lab for CH121 (hahahahahahahaha). Call him Pawz.

Since I work with 'dawgs' I see all kinds of names. My advice is don't give him a name that implies a good nature and intelligence (i.e. sweetie pi), as this will surely make him grow up to be mean and stupid just out of spite...Spite...actually thats pretty cool name.
You can always go with NoName (pronounced No-nom-ee).

He'll be a fairly big dog,so maybe call him Monterey (or Monty) as in Monterey Jack. (I used to watch Chip n Dales Rescue Rangers as a kid. There was a mouse character named Monty.) Or for the fun of it, just call him mouse.

We named our dog poop......
Cause thas all the little fur ball ever did....
We new when she wanted to go outside cause she would leave us a little present RIGHT BY THE DOOR!
Other names included a few four letter words so i will spare you all the details......

I agree w/ Kevin on this one. What about Heinekin or killian.
Oh, and about the whole give the dog a human name thing, be careful w/ that. I named our dog Toby when I was like 4 or 5. Turns out that when my sister's boyfriend came over for dinner years later my dad was saying what an idiot Toby was & We had to explain that he was talking to the dog and not him.

WOW guys!!! I cannot believe I missed Elizabeth Friday..guess where I was...yes up the mountain!!
Thanks to all of you for those wonderful memories and thanks to those who had faith in me... (mmm...I think that excludes you jeremy!!).
I had such a blast with all of you and you guys gave me the inspiration to become a tour guide. And don't worry...I have learnt so much and won't get you guys lost on the mountain again.
I miss all of you and you all have a special place in my heart!!LOVE YA GUYS!!
