Deepless Thoughts Monday
Welcome to another edition of Deepless Thoughts. On our last experience we learned that 72% of participating Misconstrued Readers feel you could die from Brain Freeze. Upon a few test, we were unsuccessful, but strangely it did create a French Accent in all participants.
Today’s Question:
Is it more Inhumane to eat an apple while it is still attached to the tree? (Thus Eating it while it is technically still alive?)
Answer Yes or No
Comments
No. Apples are like fish; they don't have any feelings.

Eating an apple still attached to the tree. First, how would you eat an apple still attached to the tree. Secondly, green or ripe? And third, is the apple ever really alive. In an attempt to answer these questions, I set out to find an apple tree. Upon arriving at the base of an apple tree, I firmly grasped its branch in my hand. "Hello, apple tree. My name is Javann Jones, and I'm here to do some scientific research. Beautiful day we're having eh?" I said. As the tree was distracted by my pleasant conversation, I snuck around to the side of it and spotted and apple. It was hardly ripe, but considering the time period and the weather, I blithely decided to test this as an experimental group, and would test the control group later, once the fruit had ripened. As I bit into the apple, the sour sensation ripped through my teeth, and back into my jaws. Juices flowed down my lips onto my chin, and my salivary glands begin working in overtime. Thoroughly pleased with this experiment, I took my glasses off, cleaned them and began to inspect the apple hoping to find my next bite. Suddenly, I was greeted by the most sickening site one can have after having bitten into a live apple: the site of a worm. Or part of a worm, as I had just consumed the greater part of its tubular body in my experimentation. I fell to the ground gasping in disgust. As the apple and the part of the worm came back up my esophagas, I was relieved to know that I had finally come upon the answer to the question. DON'T EAT APPLES FROM THE TREE!!

I would have to say yes and no. No in the fact that who cares if it's alive it's just an apple (Although in Javann's case he found other live things.) And yes in the fact that animals eat off trees thus making it inhumane for us to do. (Right?)

i would have to say yes. because i don't think you could easily eat an apple from a tree. first, you would have to find something to elevate you to reach the branch with the apple on it (a ladder for instance). then, you would have lean your head back to bite it, because if you hold it, you may accidentaly pluck it. and then, a bug may fall up your nose while your head is tilted(hopefully not the one that was in javann's apple). causing you to fall off of the ladder and possibly breaking one, if not several bones.then, you would have expensive medical bills to pay. in the end, it would have been much simpler and cheaper to go to the grocery store and buy one.

If i had no knowledge of worms i would be all for eating an apple on a tree. We will probably do the likes in the New System.

IT'S AN APPLE!!!!!!!

Apples are meant to either produce more apple trees or be eaten, how they're eaten is kinda irrelevant, they're food.
