IMG_5628 (Small).JPG

Well a couple of recordings were finished up this weekend at "Out There" Studios. Shee Completed their recording. Seems the Misconstrued Album has most all entries, just waiting for 2 to be mailed to me. After that just a little album art and such. But its really impresive to listen to some of the stuff thats going on this thing, its a great lil indie album.

Here are a couple of songs to get you ready. The first is by Juice Mouse Zero. (Who informed us yesterday that his studio is back up and running). But it tis a masterful performance.

The other Is a completed Psubverse Rhyscology Song.

JMZ - Abstract Maths

Psubverse Rhyscology - Vain and Shallow

Oh and the classic Marks a Jerk has been found!

There's some sort of wierd reverb/phase thing going on when I listen to them, and I know it's not supposed to be there on Abstract. When I first heard the song the day after it was made I thought it was one of the best I've ever heard - and I'm not restricting that comment to JMZ. I'm into all that tonally challenging stuff, and I think this song really hits the mark. It reminds me a lot of something the Deftones would do, albeit a different style of music, but it's sonically the same. This is what I would define as "artful music".

Ah, excellent. Math rock and and emo. Good song, Jerm. I think I heard that before at your house.

They sound alright on my computer, which amazes me, because I was pretty sure this soundcard was dying. These speakers sound great today, though. It's weird. I wont get used to to this... this cant last...

HA!! I'm not the only one who classifies that as emo. Typical emo artist, not wanting to be labeled. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this album, looking forward as in buying it, and yes, Mark is a jerk.

OK... but its not just emo its more strait-edge too its like more than one genre...

It seems I've inadvertently taken sides in an argument. Hate it when that happens.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid Jon. At least I called it "Artful Music", which doesn't fit into any given classification at all. What were you thinking? You opened the way for your own uber-poserdom.

Indeed.

Sure, you called it Artful Music, but you didn't even say which song you were talking about, meaning that I could take that as a compliment also. And I think I will. I mean not I, but JMZ, whoever he may be. So yes, I may be a poser, but you're still a hardcore square. You too, Javann. Jerk.

Now I'm going to mentally prepare myself for the emotionally painful repercussions that are sure to result from my angry, stinging words when Seth's big sister comes and tells me off.
