Misconstrued Thoughts : Yesterday's Misconstrued Thoughts Today: So Who Really We Are (Not an English Major thats for Sure!)

Personality Test have always amused me. Not only does it given you a second to see an analysis of who you are, but even more interesting to see an analysis of how other people think (the hard part). Earlier this week some of my friends and I sat down and did the Myers-Brigg Personality Test. This test is highly respected, I have had to take it when applying for jobs, and when holding teaching positions. People want to know how and why you think.

So How do you? Well I have below a link to take the Myers Briggs Test. This one seems to be pretty accurate. Remember try not to be in the middle of the road unless absolutely you have to... Make sure to create a clear picture of who you are.

After you are done, post your results in the comment section.

Below are my results. I had previously ended up an ESFJ (The Provider) which Javann and Reggie said describes me well. The interesting thing is this says I am an ENTP (The Inventor) (Basically the the opposite of the above... not by description just by letters). (and notice the use of the word Engineer over and over again in the comments). So I figure Hey that means I'm an extroverted well rounded person. (And Man... I used to be an introvert! Extrovert by choice!... so I�ve been allover the board.)
But really Provider/Inventor does describe me. (I interact with others as a provider and create like an inventor... and that�s why I get lots of people to share in odd ideas... think back to Scavenger HuntSville).

Hhmmmmm... I'm not sure about the upholding of time-honored institutions but I think this is fairly accurate. Actually I think those are the same initials that I ended up with on the Kelsey test! The difference between extrovert and introvert is not that great... which is true- it just depends.

I love this test. Although I already know what I am: ENTP (the Inventor). Same as you Jeremy, which surprised me!! If you really want an in depth look at these, I HIGHLY recommend the book Please Understand Me II. For any of us that have been subjected to this test by a scheming Bethelite (it's apparently been very popular at Bethel for years), it was actually quite insightful! http://keirsey.com/pumII.html

You don't know me. Actually none of you do - except perhaps Javann (�Mindless Intelligence�), via the net only. I'm a Witness/pioneer/geeky sister from Holland, originally made in Canaduhh. Despite the pseudo-anonymity, I thought I'd post my results. If little else, humor me.

I must concur. The Myers Briggs test is amazingly accurate and enlightening. And Keirsey takes it one step further and adds more detail. [[insert shameless plug for Keirsey's "Please Understand Me II"]] I have taken this test a plethora of times and have always come out as an INFJ (Keirsey�s "Idealist Counselor" or MBTI�s �Author�). However, over the years I have developed a stronger T side. My I, N and J factors are always the strongest (nearly 80-90%). However, I'm split 50/50 on the F/T. So I s'pose that really makes me a INxJ ...a wacky blend of "Author� and �Mastermind," but lemony fresh nonetheless. Here are the two types I border:

INFJ � (MBTI: "Author" / Keirsey: �Idealist Counselor�). Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.
INTJ � (MBTI: "Mastermind" / Keirsey: �Rational Mastermind�). Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.

I'm new to the site so there would only be two people who could say if the test was accurate...I was classified as a ESTJ, the Administrator. Apparently I'm very in touch with the external environment(what?), very responsible and a pillar of strength(8.7% of the population. So Nick and Jake does this sound like me?? I'm also open to other thoughts on describing "The Administrator"
