You cant get no more southern than this!
When people think the most southern point in the US, the almost always think of Key West. In fact as you see in this picture, there is even a monument there, stating this fact.
However more southern than this is a point in Hawaii (not the state the big island... well the state too) This is the true most southern point in the US. Our voyage took us here. And a pretty amazing spot it proved to be. The water was so clear you could see 100's of feet away. What appeared to be a few feet was much more than. The only way to the water was either through a hole in the cliff, down a ladder, or off the cliff (watch Reggie try the later) (WMV file).
So Hawaiians, are they the true southerners (or is even Florida worthy of this title)? Well let me ask you, are they familiar with biscuits and gravy? Is grits part of their Dialect? Would you ever run across Overalls as the native garb (what is a MooMoo anyway?) What do Yall think? (Although Hawaiians do have the proper view of the importance of BBQ... maybe they are southern?)

WOAH! awesome jump reggie!!
technically hawaiians are southern as southern can be. but they are also western as western can be. AND they are eastern as eastern can be. something about some kinda divide that makes them the most eastern and western state of the U.S. SO...i don't think hawaiians even know what they are other than hawaiian, and aren't they glad?

What was that you were jumping into? That was quite the splashdown sound effect. . .anyway, I was actually thinking Montogomery was the Southernmost point in the USA, since not much else South of that counts. But now that I think about it, Hawaii does have barbecue. Maybe in a few years, they can institute prejudice, sweet tea, a wholesome mistrust of outsiders, and a bad accent and join the south.

I as a Dumb Holly can say they already have the mistrust of outsiders, prejudice of parallel nature, and bad accent. All they really need is sweet tea.... oh and grits...and the overalls. (also there were not enough trailer parks... but all in all really it was a bit the same (at least the big island). Its just sugar cane fields ... not tobacco or cotton or soybeans.
