Dave Friday!

thedave.jpg

Eh? Its Dave! ...meeting people new by misconstrued... ... add your stories about Dave!...

Comin to ya out of the West Coast (of Canada). Since Amber Wanted Dave Friday (Even though she doesnt know Dave... well here it is!

Dave (Despite the fact he supports Dairy Queen, is a cool guy!) (Ugh brings back memories of Durian Ice Cream... nooooooooooooo)

True when we visited Briitish Columbia, it was his american/candian hospitality (He has dual citizinship) which made our stay in Vancouver fun! (Plus I knew he was cool, since he had a Braid Album in his Car!)

No one would speak to us, but then there was Dave, next thing I know We are goin in Service with him, he's takin us to get clothes (we were out)... and then off for some street performances in Vancouver.

But when you meet Dave be prepared... Comparing his word rate to mine.... he could in general fit in 5-6 words for my one.... Man that boy can talk quick! (Guess thats why he works for Fedex).

And I've only ever been around him one day (I just know all this cuz he spoke so quick!... oh then there was that extra drive when he ran outta gas... )

So thats Dave!... add your stories about Dave, its Dave day... (and if you've been confused till this point... no this isnt the Wendy's Guy)

Well well well, do I ever have some Dave stories! There is just too many. Well anytime something goes wrong, 99% of the time Dave is with me. Here is one funny(well I guess it wasn't that funny at the time eh Dave?)story...
Me and Dave were on our way to go pick up Lea from work, to go to the meeting, but half way there I just remembered that I forgot to go home and pick up lea's meeting clothes...but it's okay we still had time to do that go pick up lea and be there on time for the meeting. So when me and Dave got home we realized that we were locked out of the house! not too good. So I had an idea where we could go to the downstaires bathroom window, and sometimes you can push the window up over the lock(yah its ol school) so we tried this and there was no way it would break cause the window was thick..thicker then usual. And well...as we were pushin up on it all of a sudden the whole window shattered....and I mean shattered! Imagine then scene us in our meeting clothes. bleeding hands.broken window. but I made dave push me through the window anyway to get lea's clothes. So we went and got lea, and were a bit embarrased/scared to go to the meeting, embarrased cause we were bleeding, and so late for the meeting, and scared to tell my parents that we broke the nice ol school window of theirs. So being as nice as Dave is, I made him go sit beside my parents and explain to them what happend(during the meeting)with everyone looking at him. haha. What a good guy!
ohhh...also we got our snowboards stolen together.whoo hoo!

yeah, Dave's been my best bud for centuries and there's just too many stories to tell. So I'll tell the most recent one. Twas a dark october friday night, and we had just returned from going downtown. I had just purchased Madden 2004 and dave decided to stay over and play. Well, 11pm turned to 3am and suddenly, everything seemed hilarious. The jokes of least intelligence illuminate from delerious minds. It wasn't until 8:45am Saturday morning that we realized that our eyes were glazed over from the videogame. We went to bed and woke up 3 hours later to go get some Grand Slam breakfasts then later played hockey with some brothers. Where we got our energy for the day remains a mystery...

ah yes....dave, dave, dave. No party could be the same without ya bud. He does talk rather fast for an american doesn't he, i think it's cause he's lived here too long. In fact when I first met him he told me his whole life story in less than 20 minutes. There are way too many stories to tell about dave....but one thing comes to mind, once me and Judi talked him into taking us to Seattle for a concert (you can talk him into anything) which was a bad mistake, we got lost and were driving around for hours, and me and Judi were nattering at him the whole time seeing how far we could push him, and if we needed directions we would make him get out of the car to ask for us, saying we were afraid of getting raped (lol, good excuse but it worked)....finally it all got to him and he yelled out "that's it i'm pulling this car over" and he drove the car up onto the curb....haha...me and judi laughing only made it worse. We did make it to the concert though, and then after we drove the car all the way home on empty, cause none of us had enough American money for gas. I still don't know how we made it. Ah good times. Oh and Dave hasn't took just the 2 of us to Seattle since :)

oh and gee thanks jerm....Dave was the only one who made vancouver fun??......haha

A real treat for any good canadian is a fine hockey game. An added treat is watching a fine hockey game with Dave. One can never be sure which piece of clothing he'll remove when Naslund scores. It can be a shirt or jeans. I call him Tigger for good reason. But Tigger does get out of control when the canucks score. He does have some excellent qualities too. He's come from a life of great adversary and has never used it as an excuse to not serve his creator.

No no... i'll relate how you made it fun on Lea Friday... dont worry

Ahem! how "we" made it fun ;) jk

Dave is a sexy beast. *tigger growl*

Man, I wish I knew Dave. He sounds cool.
