Don't Stare Its not nice, or healthy

solar-eclipse.jpg

So today is a significant day! It is the last solar eclipse we will be able to see until 2012. That's right, 7 years from now! (Where will you be in 7 years?) Will you have your hair? Will you have your degree? Will you still be eating microwave dinners every night? Will you still be living with you parents? Will you still be driving that car? Will you still be running 4 miles every day? Will This site still exist? Will we all have developed our super powers and be a X-Men like team?

Anyway, instead of the overwhelming thoughts of that question. Just go out today. I think here in Bama it will start about 5 and peak at 6:30PM. Don't miss it.

The weather should clear up enough to see it by then.

Oh and DONT STARE AT THE SUN! Just glance, or use welding goggles.

That was one massively shameless plug there Ana...
Is this the double eclipse, or has that one happened already? The double is only viewable in the Southern Hemisphere this time, right?

Oh yeah, Jerm, its STARE not STAIR. While STAIR is a valid english word, its not a verb, its a noun. Bad grammar.

Well as it is now... I"m blind... I staired at the sun... and i have this feeling that javann left a coment about my poor spelling, but I'm to blind to see

Well guess I have till 2012 to regain my site... and restart this whole crazy eclipse addiction

wow that rendition of where blue birds fly is amazing... awesome catch you win reader of the week again... man would have been awesome to be there... maybe this shows whats coming sweet if so! i thought of it as electonic but we see its classical

amazing!

Yeah I loved Where blue birds fly. I wasn't so taken by Jonny's solo work as I thought I'd be. I know he's got mad skillz as far as composition goes though, so maybe I just dont get it. But I think it shows that the next Radiohead album is gonna be an amazing thing. The mix of rock, Radiohead's own electronic sound, and now this classical element. It's just gonna be... something.

The Body Song soundtrack had its moments, but on the whole, it's not something that I would listen to a lot.

Thanks Ana!!! I forgot all about my taxes. Yikes!! that would have been bad. Well anyway where do I see myself in 7 years? Hmmm, hopefully by then the New System will be here. But if its not. By that time I (hopefully) would have had my degree for 6 years. Hopefully my invention for Fruitships would come true, who knows....

I was inside all day at work, and in Michigan!! How was the eclipse?? In seven years?? Hopefully by then we will be in the new system and I'll be in a better position on the earth to see the next eclipse. :)

Yeah the body song sound track was so so... but i msut say the website was very interesting... great flash work.

And the eclipese was pretty cool those who saw it found it very interesting!

Man, nobody around here said anything about the eclipse,I remember the last one I seen was really cool. I guess I'll have to wait another 7 years :( I was stuck inside doing a wedding rehearsal at that time.
ditto on the new system and hopefuly I'll be fluent in vietnamese
