I'm a Cut Up, or maybe I will be...

Well, as expected the Bouybee Uybee album was not recieved with great glee... but for those few who get the whole concept... hey good times are to be had.

But I think it's time to move on in my musical career. I've had the bagpipes, which was a big bust, except I made more for them than I paid for them.

Then the guitar, well, it was fun, but my style was questioned.

So I have found the definite best instrument for myself. It hit me this weekend when I was listening to Mercury Rev. The Musical Saw! Thats right, the whole sound is a bit off beat... and well thats what I go for.

So yes, look for future music from this new route, in my non musical musical career.

And on another note... this week you can get buy one get one free board games at Amazon.

Yea the saw is beautiful...love it that it's made it's way into modern music. The first time I heard it in real life (not just on Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers) was in Sarah McLachlan's song "last Dance" on her Surfacing album.

Nice choice!

Remember that weird Tuvan throat music you listened to at my house? you could do that... That guy was saying things like "orange juce is good for you" but it sounded like a really old oriental guy mumbeling

you could have a hand at a different singing style...

Personally, I would play the Jug, toot toot

no, no I was not thinking straight

I would play the hose (put a trumpet mouthpiece in one end of a hose and twirl the other end above your head, it makes a delightfull noise)
