A NEW EVENT!

OK... Its time for SOME TRIVIA! Thats right. If you refresh the main misconstruedthoughts.com page... you'll see stuff has been replaced with Trivia!

How it works:

Every day (Ending at 11PM EST), 10 new questions will be posted. Answer them as fast as you can... you get points for speed and accuracy. The points are tabulated for the month to determine the winner.

To play you have to setup an account (doesnt take long) then just click on Play now, once you are logged in. (There is this one section which says play trivia and earn prizes, dont waste your time with that). The subject is just general knowledge. SO EVERYONE PLAY. Fun FOR THE WHOLE MISCONSTRUED WORLD!

So either click Quiz above, or click on this link... bookmark and play daily!

Thoughts... Questions? Post them.. now we can see where the trivia champs really reside... North Dakota? North Carolina? Georgia? California? New York? Tennessee? Canada? Alabama? Florida? For this make your name and Add to the abbreviation where you live... i.e.

I will be

Jerm (AL)

Post who you are here too!

Have fun!

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 09:10 AM

I'm BigBrainLittleMind (AL) and I got beat by everyone but Mallory. I was expecting Mallory to destroy me. I'm sure she'll get me next time.

Posted by: What, You're Expecting My Name Here? at January 5, 2005 09:17 AM

will i get disfellowshipped from the misconstrued trivia circle for re-testing?

Posted by: mallory at January 5, 2005 09:26 AM

this time i only missed: "Name the Siberian peasant monk who gained the confidence of Tsarina Alexandra and Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Grigori _______ ? "

Posted by: mallory at January 5, 2005 09:27 AM

Rasputin

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 09:31 AM

hmm... well i guess you'll go with Mallory (TN) from now on... since its cumilative over several days...(or the month)

Ah the joy of reading instructions

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 09:33 AM

JEREMY - 1
MALLORY- 0

Posted by: mallory at January 5, 2005 09:36 AM

It's not letting me play, what is wrong. It says I am logged in so I press Play and then it says I am not logged in so I log in again and press play and it throws me back out saying I am not. I even tried creating a different acount and it does the same thing. This computer doesn't like me today. This whole day is bad. The only thing to make things good today would be to go into labor. Someone please make my day go better!!!

Posted by: Amber at January 5, 2005 10:34 AM

You have to have your cookies turned on in internet explorer. I bet that is what it is.

sorry you are having a bad day. Maybe that will work... Hmm as for the labor... when are you due?

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 10:57 AM

The same thing happened to me I had to go directy to the address
http://www.funtrivia.com/private/main.cfm?tid=9894
to get it to let me play.

Posted by: Jason at January 5, 2005 10:57 AM

ok i reset it up so that when you click on the link (play trivia... it will put it in a new window... so that should work...

click on Quiz on the main page.

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 11:09 AM

Okay, that worked, but did horrible. Maybe better tomorrow.

I am due in 10 days, but if I don't go by the weekend I will be shocked. Or if the swelling doesn't go down in my feet (So big I can't wear shoes) I will call MD Friday to be set up for induction.

Posted by: Amber at January 5, 2005 11:18 AM

Point: My sister thinks cookies are edible buscuits sweetened with sugar and chocolate chips. She thinks java is coffee. Mozilla is a gourmet coffee flavor. I once told her that you have to have the correct plug-in for java in mozilla. She thought I was talking about plugging in the coffee machine to make a pot...

Posted by: keats at January 5, 2005 12:09 PM

I just took my time and killed everybody. You guys really have to step it up. I could have done that in under 40 seconds....

And I am disappointed in you sis.... only six correct?

Posted by: keats at January 5, 2005 12:15 PM

My morning-long reign has ended!
How disappointed am I...

I am somewhat comforted in now knowing I AM Napoleon Dynamite.

Find out who you are here.

Posted by: Patty at January 5, 2005 12:25 PM

I would have gotten two more correct, but I changed my answers. I knew that Sir Isaac Newton did gravity and that the line under your nose is that P word. Didn't know where the Sears tower was though.

I want you to try taking the test though with Garrett saying "Ewww buger" and handing it to you even though you gave him tissue, but instead of using it for the buger tears it up and throws it all over the floor and still uses the finger to pick his nose. Yep we will see how well you can concentrate with that big thing coming at you.

Posted by: Amber at January 5, 2005 01:03 PM

man...you guys got hard questions. mine were pretty easy, like "what do herbivores eat?" which of course i missed because i was going too fast. herbivores eat plants! yeah...just so we're clear on that. and who knows all the songs from grease anyway?

but it was fun, and i look forward to playing again tomorrow. cool idea jerm.

Posted by: sarah b a/k/a long time no post at January 5, 2005 01:04 PM

Sears tower... chicago.. i'm kip acording to the test... yes.. that means i'll be talking to hot women all morning on the internet.

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 01:05 PM

Uh Oh!! Georgia isn't looking to good here. Emily, 3 points?

Posted by: Jason at January 5, 2005 01:05 PM

I guess I am the kip... the questionare told me so :(

And yes, I got really hard questions on the quiz, i think that it is not fair (though I have the internet at my disposal)

muah hah hah hah *evil grin*
Its all mine I tell you... ALL MINE!...

what happened to quite wednesday.. i have a good one:

"I said that but I didn't say that" - Jerm trying to back out of whatever he said... cant remember what he said so he did a good job

Posted by: Priddy the Hut at January 5, 2005 01:28 PM

jerm you need a spell checker on this...

Posted by: Priddy the Hut at January 5, 2005 01:29 PM

ah Patty (who ever you may be) what matters is your cumilative score.. so redem yourself tomorrow.. thats what all matters in the end...

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 01:32 PM

I knew all that time I spent watching Jeopardy would eventually pay off!!! I'm #1! WOOWOO!

Posted by: Jill at January 5, 2005 01:41 PM

Ah brent... your searches on the net didnt get you many points... speed is important... spelling... its overrated.

and quote wednesday will return.. just thought we'd get this a goin...

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 01:45 PM

good job jill.. Alabama back on top... oh yeah!

Oh and no researching... thats not real trivia!

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 01:48 PM

Okay, it's on now....

Posted by: keats at January 5, 2005 02:03 PM

Aww yeah! I'm the man. How come the questions were different? I was expecting the same questions. That threw me off and slowed me down. Does everybody get different question?

Posted by: 2nd times a charm at January 5, 2005 02:31 PM

Um yeah... The german warship question threw me off, and I realized too late that Thailand was not called Burma!

Plus I waited a few seconds before starting....oops.

ben-urbanpreppie05 (OH)

Posted by: Ben Williams at January 5, 2005 02:35 PM

yes everyones questions are differnt... thats why its cumilative for a month... So Tremain... keep with a name and see if you improve over days... otherwise... its all crazy. (Do you really want to be known by 2nd times a charm from now on?)

remmber a new round starts at 9PM Central tonight.

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 02:42 PM

Tremaine!!!! I can't believe you beat me :( I actually thought I was smart... *sniff sniff*

Posted by: Jill at January 5, 2005 02:47 PM

it took him two tries though.. so he's a loser. you are smart.

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 02:50 PM

hey!

Posted by: mallory at January 5, 2005 02:58 PM

Hey, I answered different questions and got them all right. What's wrong with that? It's not like I memorized the answers from previous questions (although that was what I was trying to do). But I can see the point about having multiple names so I will just play with one name.

Posted by: 2nd Times a Charm at January 5, 2005 02:59 PM

Yeah, what mallory said too. We aren't losers. We are just the only people smart enough to find loop holes in the system. Ow I think I hurt my foot... Ow ow... oh my poor little foot

Posted by: 2nd Times a Charm at January 5, 2005 03:00 PM

Hey? how are you? ;) anwyays.. yes loopholes.. well in time they all fall out.

so everyone get out there encyclopedia gettin ready for tomorrow.

;)

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 03:04 PM

*sigh* No, you aren't a loser...I still love ya. I'm just a sore loser :)

Posted by: Jill at January 5, 2005 03:05 PM

Thanks Jill. Your kindness has made me feel bad for my actions. I will relinquish 1st place to Jill and will play as Tre (AL) for now on. Plus Jerm is right "2nd times a charm" is a stupid name.

Posted by: 2nd times a charm at January 5, 2005 03:09 PM

Hey, what the? Jerm you can't abuse your webmaster skills and add text to my comments. Don't make me break out my illegal ninja moves and nunchuck skills.

Posted by: Tre at January 5, 2005 03:12 PM

seriously jeremy,

this doesnt need to be a monocracy, dont make us overthrow you. Tremaine, i've seen his nunchuck skills, , , you dont want any of that.

Posted by: mallory at January 5, 2005 03:29 PM

OK OK...

I admit i added the lines

Ow I think I hurt my foot... Ow ow... oh my poor little foot

in tremaines comment. Please forgive me Misconstrued People...

But I am listening to some classic MOdest Mouse... Dog Paddle... Please let my exceptional taste in music be a means to overlook my forth wrong... as I will overlook The Dual Competitors.

;)

Super Asian Tech will xray it for you

Posted by: Tracey at January 5, 2005 04:00 PM

Wow. That's an impressive read.

Posted by: What, You're Expecting My Name Here? at January 5, 2005 04:05 PM

are you talking about the kind of x-rays from running in circles long enough?

i learned that from javann

Posted by: mallory at January 5, 2005 04:08 PM

No no.... don't listen to that javann character

Posted by: Tracey at January 5, 2005 04:21 PM

Okay that is not fair. Just so you know Kevin only beat me because his questions were: in what state is Los Angles, What number signifies the devil, What is not a Bond movie (Shanghi Noon). who is associated with WWII, and stuff like that. I actually had thinking questions. Sooo Seth, no making fun of me. And don't forget I had a booger in my face while I was taking the test!!!

Posted by: Amber at January 5, 2005 04:44 PM

No thinking questions!!!! Whats the square root of 793? or how bought the distance from mars to jupiter in miles? maby she would have known the average life span of a dragonfly, or weight of 1500 gallons of water on the moon. she diden't mention those.

Posted by: kevin at January 5, 2005 07:18 PM

Oh yea she still had a big booger on her face when I got home.

Posted by: kevin at January 5, 2005 07:21 PM

i am quite unhappy with my score

Posted by: Autumn at January 5, 2005 10:06 PM

The Smartest Player today is currently toopriddy (AL).

oh yea!
though, those were not questions, they were multiple choice novels

no jerm i did not cheat

Posted by: toopriddy at January 5, 2005 10:25 PM

OH NO!!!!
I tried to take the second test and my co,purt completelly froze up!

do you think it will let me take it again, jeremy?

Posted by: Autumn at January 5, 2005 10:38 PM

Hmm.. not sure .. it may not... but it would only be one day in the total.. so probably won't matter...

and now at least you'll laways have an excuse!

Posted by: itzjerm at January 5, 2005 10:46 PM

Yeah, Kevin, like you would really know the answer to those questions. Oh, and another one of his questions...What green vegetable is often associated with Popeye? Come on!!!

Posted by: Amber at January 6, 2005 05:41 AM

There is defenite variation in these questions... I had to know what river Dublin was on...

but also...

and i missed this. September Birth Stone.

Posted by: itzjerm at January 6, 2005 07:53 AM

hahahaha!
did you see how many seconds it took me to take the second test!

Posted by: Autumn at January 6, 2005 08:38 AM

thast like a record initself eh?

Posted by: itzjerm at January 6, 2005 08:55 AM

yeah, i think there should be a monthly winner for that

Posted by: Autumn at January 7, 2005 11:09 AM
