Posted by itzjerm at December 6, 2004 12:53 PMI have to say Jerm thats really cool. I'll be visiting that site more than misconstrued from now on!
Posted by: Judi at December 6, 2004 08:14 PMUh, you should probably spell INTRO correctly. I think its more a typo than a misspelling though.
Posted by: What, You're Expecting My Name Here? at December 7, 2004 08:55 AMCool design Jerm, but watch your spelling and repeat usage of descriptive words like "Amazing", "Dynamic", and "Energy". If there are going to be a lot of music oriented folks checking the site out (i.e. band members, and fans who were at the show) it's going to need to be a bit more grammatically varied and correct. Also, a different icon for the movie camera might be good.
Next up is a quam I have with how the bands are divided. What are you basing the classification between "Alternative" and "Indie" on? If it's record labels, then it doesn't really work out because Interpol, Polyphonic Spree, and Snow Patrol are all on major labels, but the Eels are not (they used to be on Dreamworks, but E is putting out stuff on a different one now).
Don't even get me started on the "Emo" classification...it's removal should be swift and painless like an execution.
The fact that it can be translated into other languages is a cool touch, as is the large amount of multimedia content to explore (good pics, lots o video, etc.)
All in all it's a great start...now get to tweaking :)
