I have what in my Hair?

Well this weekend took me to the mountains of Tennessee for a little camping. I must say I was very happy to get out and enjoy some camping relaxation, it had been awhile. Nothing really like it... thats for sure.

But as always, we packed in a multitude of activities. Everyone was overjoyed to make a trip over to the Natahalla for a float down the river. Ben Was so happy he ended up giving Jason a big hug. However I must admit I questioned the logic of not rafting, but swimming. The Water in the Natahalla is so Morbid cold, that the decision to jump off rocks, was a dismal choice... we are not talking freezing, we're talking shear pain. Of course we had the hardest working raft on the river as you see here. The best choice of the day was when we decided to raft a while with our eyes closed, I believe that group of Orientals we rammed into wasnt expecting to see a boat full of people rush into them with no one in the boat even looking. (although equally exciting was the rapid we went through with all standing was entertaining too...)

No of course there were other antics, which included gummy bear wars. A little moisture and a gummy bear has the ability to stick to anything.

But definitely one of the highlights of the trip was the mud fight, down deep within a cave. (See Picture above). Nothing like the shear pleasure of getting right out completely muddy. Good times good times. When all the votes were in, Kathyrn and Ron won the best mudded award.

Almost makes me wish I could swim. Looks like a good time was had by all.

A good time was absolutely had by all. The trip came with its own catchphrases, which are probably better suited for quote wednesday... "All or nothing!" and "Beware of warm water!"

Ah, Good times. It's amazing the things we do in the name of fun. And it shows that the best things in life are free. Or atleast cheap.

while i wouldnt recommend jumping into the freezing water, the mud fight was lots of fun even though we had to get in the freezing water to wash off! and ron was hilarious, not only with the rubber ducky, but in the raft too ;) he may be 32, but he knows how to have a good time

Well, i had a great time. Just a few problems... Left my toothbrush, underwear, tent, got beat by “sister” Webber and Kathryn, stung by a yellow jacket and couples other things. But it was really fun. Was nice to meet Barrett, Ben and get to know Kathryn better.

I had great time. Only a few problems showed up starting with day 1: Left my toothbrush, underwear, tent, got beat by “sister” Webber and Kathryn, stung by a yellow jacket and couples other things. But it was really fun. Was nice to meet Barrett, Ben and get to know Kathryn better.
