Who Are You?

Well Misconstruedthoughts has been around for nearly a year, and now we have people from all over that may be viewers/readers/commenters. Well now is the time to say hello, who you are; and if you think there should be more misconstrued as you have seen it...

I will be gone for a couple of weeks to Bethel, in New York.

So while away, just leave your name and where you are from; and prepare for July3rd. Its coming.....

My name is Dylan. I'm from Minot, North Dakota. Jared Waltzer met you when you were going through unassigned territory around Devil's Lake years back. I saw your site for the first time about one year ago in his apartment here (he's an elder here now). All I know is we went to Jared's to watch a movie. He was on the computer and I saw some guys destroying a computer monitor seemingly over and over. I was intrigued so I watched XPGA, he told me about you and the site and I have visited ever since. But I never got to see Failed Day. You oughta post that again so I can see whether or not I wanna buy a T-shirt. ;) Anyways, keep up the good work on this fun and doggone it, upbuilding journal.

My name's Janina Labrucherie. I live in Brooklyn, NY. I found out about this site cuz I was checkin' out my friend, Matt Dellaquila's site,www.webtecky.com, and you mentioned Misconstrued in your comments.

Hey Dylan, my cousin moved into Rugby, North Dakota just about a year ago... Roberta Hay ring any bells? You might've seen her cuz she goes over to Minot to work the territory once in a while with her room mate Vonne. Anyway, small world. Jeremy, have you ever thought of a logo for your site:Misconstrued, bringing people all over the country closer together. Yea, I like the site, great photos! My vote is for MORE MISCONSTRUED!!!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy temp work. Maybe we'll see you out here.

Hi! My name is Patty Castillo, and I'm from Texas (from a town so small, there is really no need to mention it). Last year, my sister sent me a link to your International Convention photo page, and from there I found this site. Since Miscontrued has become a must-stop site every day for me while at work, my vote is for more, also! I love the wacky video and soundclips, and the wedding photos always give me new ideas, although I could never be as good a photographer as Jeremy.

Though I don't know any of you, or even someone that knows someone that knows ya'll, our shared love of Jehovah and his organization brings us together, and it's wonderful to hear from others from all over the country who upbuild and encourage each other.

So everyone take care, and Jeremy, have fun in Bethel and keep up the great work!

Hey, I'm Javann Lamar Jones, from Huntsville AL. I come to this site because its almost like a godchild to me. That's right, I witnessed the birth of this site, and even had a bit of a hand in naming it. I've seen it go through its ups and downs, and I still come by as much as possible, just to check in on the little bugger.

my name's andrew crosley. i live in georgia. we grow lots of pecans and other nuts...like me! anyways, i've been part of the calhoun congregation for 8 years, been pioneering here for almost the last 4, and just graduated RN school. i met jeremy a few years back at a quickbuild (i think scottsboro)--we were laying bricks on the same wall, and to entertain ourselves and everyone else we started making up funny little songs. not all the other bricklayers got into the songs, so eventually even jerm had to tell me to hush. but i had already decided he was alright. and entertaining, especially when i met the rest of the huntsville crew and watched their dvd's about the channel-
clapper and computer demolition. and watched tremaine's arm burst into flames...
but back to the point about misconstrued thoughts, since it's full of wholesome (sort of) and endearing entertainment, and since it has become a means by which folks from all over can mingle and laugh, I THINK IT IS NOW AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CULTURE and needs a theme song! here goes: "Come one, come all, from far and wide/To see jerm's slightly cock-eyed side./Bring a happy or sad or serious mood,/And your thoughts too can be misconstrued!" (i'm still working on it)

Howdy Ho! It be me...Sheena Marie! I'm from Huntsville,Al. I actually live in Madison, Al but lets not be technical. I love Jeremy's website! It's like the one of the coolest parts of my young adult life as a Jehovah's Witness. It is!!! I mean you think about how awesome it is to hit the same webpage everyday, and be encouraged, upbuilt, informed, educated, cracked up, cheered up, and my favorite HEARD! Thats right. YOu get to sound off and you get to interact with fellow believers who are just as if not more weird and strange than you are! On top of that because of misconstrued...Heeheheehee, i met this really awesome person right...and this person is just like my best friend. We now been friends for going on 7 or 8 months. And i'm really glad i've meet this person. Sorry to sound so vague...but You aka "ME" knows who they are! Thank you soo very much Jeremy for each day providing something worth looking at on the net in a day in age when the net is most filled with porn!
love ya all....

HI im Courtney. Im from seminole FL. Wendy Mills told me I need to check out your site. I must say its quite interesting. Im one to go on the computer once evry couple of months but ill try to check back. Oh yeah my E-mail isnt up anymore but ill use my brothers soon when i figure out what it is.

Posted by: Courtney at June 14, 2004 06:42 PM

Hey Jeremy,
I check out your site just about every day. You know me, but however I choose to stay anonymous because of the idea I'm about to propose. The things you have on here are pretty cool, and I would say even educational at times, where as others are just plain out insane, enough to procure a laugh that is. But hey, heres an idea. Whats the chances of doing like a bachleor or bachleorette of the week type deal? I know theres a lot of witness people that visit your site and it might be a cool way to meet new people. You already have a person of the week, just maybe add some more flavor to it. And if, not it was just a passing thought. No worries. Enjoy you visit to Bethel.

I am Jon Houser. I am currently residing in Glasgow Kentucky, however Smyrna Tennessee had been my home up until about six months ago. I came down here to serve as a pioneer where the need was greater. I've been pioneering for a little over a year now, but it's the first of many years. It quickly became my top priority, and now I plan on doing it til it's no longer a physical possibility for me to go on doing it, or until hopefully it's just no longer necessary to preach door to door.

My main interests aside from my services to Jehovah are the Literary arts, and now I've taken up the graphic arts (Sketching and painting), also I have a great interest in Physical science (I really wanted to steal some of Jeremy's phsyics books), as well as Psychology and Sociology. I also enjoy a game of chess every now and again.

I first found out about Jeremy and this site from Jon Bouldin. He was showing me a video of him on the "Jeremy Springer Show", then showed me a slew of other videos. I first met Jerm in person not too long ago when I went to Alabama with Jon to hang out. We acted french and ate chinese food, also trying to kill ourselves by means of Brain Freeze...while acting french. I started coming here regularly a couple months ago because it's a great site that combines scientific discussions with displays of art (be it creative writing, or just Jerms awesome photography), with spiritual encouragement. Plus it is always fun to meet and talk to people from around the globe. Keep the site going, Jerm. It's good stuff.

Ah Man! Don't make this into a JW MATCH sorta thing! It would totally ruin the site! I love Misconstrued AS IT IS!

C'mon Anonymous! Let's not taint Misconstrued by making it a place to meet singles. This site is AWESOME just as it is!

Hey Nina, small world indeed! I've worked out in service with Roberta twice so far, she a lot of fun to be around,. She and Vonne come to Minot quite a bit and we always enjoy working with them so much. I'll have to tell her about this. :) I think she mentioned you too, said you used to work at a medical office with a lot of Hasidic co-workers? Is that you?

Posted by: Dylan at June 15, 2004 12:15 PM

Yup that's me! It was a Jewish Doctor's office...oh the stories! Anyway, nice to "meet" you!

Posted by: Nina at June 15, 2004 01:22 PM

Agreed, I'll politely add I HATE JW Match with a passion. Witnesses charging Witnesses a feee to chat and meet each other? Isn't that kinda like the money changers in the temple? Not that JW Match is holy. Heh...

Posted by: Dylan at June 15, 2004 01:26 PM

Yeah, we were talking about different religions, somehow we got on Judaism and how rigid the Hasidic folks can be. She told me a few uh, anecdotes from your Jewish doctor's office days. :p

Hi my name is Amber Rader from Greeneville, TN. I am originally from Florida (Hi Courtney, can't beleive my mom told you about the site).

I started coming to the site regularly since I have started working at home. This is where I come to take my breaks from listening to doctors ramble on and on about people. I also come here because it seems it is the only place I can communicate with my brother. For some reason he doesn't answer my E-mails or call me on the phone, but he has the time to come here and post comments so I figure why not.

Posted by: Amber at June 15, 2004 04:55 PM

Wow, I didn't know so many people came to this site. That's kinda awesome. Keep posting. I've not heard anything from Jerm since he left for Bethel a whopping two days ago, but now that I have all of D.A.'s personal information, I can begin my plan to form my own band, play bass AND sing lead. . .BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh yeah that thing that's coming July 3rd. . .its big. Bigger than big. So big if I told you, it'd take all day. Its that big. Huge. Gargantuan. Definitely not liliputian.

Posted by: Javann Drops The Anvil Frequently at June 15, 2004 06:48 PM

Alright guys. I see your point. This is a great site and my passing misconstrued thought of people trying to meet new people on here might give the wrong impression to people who visit the site of what it's really intended for. So Jeremy, and other viewers, disregard that idea. Thanks

Posted by: Anonymous at June 15, 2004 09:50 PM

well i met jeremy at the district convention last year and started getting the e-mails everyday to his site. I finally broke down to see what the fuss was all about and I have been an on looker ever since. I think my favorite video was the laundry. It's been a lot of fun.

oh and I too hate the JW match idea.

Posted by: Autumn at June 15, 2004 09:55 PM

I'm Jonathan Bouldin. Jeremy and I go back five or six years to a time of twisted rumors, women, broken hearts, talking about others behind their backs, antidepressants, college, pioneering... and hiking. I've been in touch with Jerm ever since and we hang out semifrequently. Would hang out more but he's a couple hours away. Being friend with him in person made it easy to find this site when it was first made.

I play guitar and read (when I think my brain can handle it) for fun. I've been enjoying books by Tolstoy, Steinbeck and a modern author by the name of David Foster Wallace as well as other authors and titles; mostly classics. Music-wise I've got my little brain child known as Juice Mouse Zero which some of you may or may not know of. I would refer you to a link of some kind but sadly, at the moment, JMZ doesn't have a home on the web. Maybe soon though.

Right now I'm in school learning about databases in Access so that I can jump start into the hardc0rz (and incredibly daunting) world of .NET programming. I also have a job but I'm not sure for how much longer. Had to make room for school, you know.

I think that's about it for me. I need some sleepies.

Hello everyone. My name is The Beau. Why my parents named me with a "The" preceding, I will never know so don't bother to ask. Anyways, I first heard about this site while The Knoxville File was under construction. I was instantly intrigued by the photography section. Being an amateur photographer myself (you can see some of my pics on the Knoxville File, i.e. the old city, girl looking in water, frog, etc.) I have known Jeremy and his sisters for a long time but never really got to hang out with them that much. From what I can discern, they are pretty adventurous. Most of the people on this site are from Huntsville, AL which is odd because I used to live in Decatur, AL and still don't know a single one. I have still yet to formally meet this so-called "Javann" But usually he is "Definitely not Javann" or he has an unholy burrito or else he just died. So I may never get the chance to meet this individual but oh well. That might be for the best because who knows what kind of inflammatory reaction one would have to an unholy burrito.

By the way:

I am a single white male, 5'8", blonde hair, blue eyes, seeking a tall drink of water with these attributes:

Age: 23
Sex: M
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 208
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Black and Grey
Hometown: Knoxville, TN
Interests include yachting, chinchilla inebriation, and bow hunting.
Pet peeves include white supremacy, nail chewing, and socks.

Posted by: D.A. at June 16, 2004 08:38 AM

Well i guess you could say that I made the first spin-off of Miscontstrued Thoughts. When I saw the site and the involvment of everyones ideas i knew right then that Knoxville needed its own home to call its own on the web. So after you leave your "who i am" info on this page swing by The Knoxville File and check out some of whats going on in East Tennessee, the past couple weeks have been slow but there picking back up and TKF is 100%. I cant wait to see what Jeremy has in store for July 3 so i can steal, plunder, and pillage his ideas and make them mine, just kidding jerm, TKF will have a new look in the future though just as soon as i crack open my dusty HTML books and polish up on some new web design.

Check out the site while Jerm is working in Bethel.

This is Tre. Those who are familiar with the site may know me as anatomically correct Spider-Man, dead guy in XPGA, or guy whose arm is on fire. I've been with misconstruedthoughts since soon after it's birth. From my affiliation with the site I have received long Bible-based discussions about some of my work on the site as well as second degree burns and nasty scars. It is as if my useful habits are being spoiled some how since I've been in association with this site.

But I digress because really, the site is great. It's always pleasant to hear from others from all over the place. And the photography section is always a pleasure. During the slow days at work(I'll call them weekdays), this site kept me occupied during the day. Today is one of those days. And once again the site has kept me from falling asleep on the job. Thanks misconstruedthoughts.com

One thing remains for the site though. I don't know if anyone has thought about this, but it could be a match-making site. I seek a former super-model/world class chef turned pioneer who for reasons beyond reason would fall for me. If you qualify, don't think; just accept my proposal for marriage.

Posted by: Tre at June 16, 2004 11:43 AM

I'm Becky, from Huntsville, AL. I think I met Jeremy once before, but I got included in one of those joyous mass emails about the site, so having nothing else to do, I checked it out, and now I gotta check it out once or twice a week.

It's always nice to be able to meet other friends from all over the world with the same
goals as ourselves, you know? That's what makes this site so neat. Oh yeah, and the wicked photography section.

Posted by: Becky at June 16, 2004 12:46 PM

Tre, I'll accept your proposal.

I have the part: why advoid drug abuse on the service meeting tomorrow night and I thought you may have some personl experiance with drugs and what it did for you. It dosent matter if its true or not just as long as its believable and someone may benefit from it.

and even though i'm probably the only person who doesn't have a clue on this site, i'm gonna ask anyways, what is happening on july 3rd?

Posted by: meg at June 16, 2004 06:27 PM

Hmmm lets see here meg july 3
If your somebody you will be in telico plains rideing a dirt bike or a quad watching very large trucks climb huge rocks that send them tumbeling down a hill. If this sounds cool to any one out there e-mail me and ill get you some more info. I thing there will be about to 25 to 30 other witnesses there

This is Judi and Lea from Vancouver, Canada. Met Jerm when he walzed into our hall a few years ago. He told us to check out this site, and when we did we found out its true that people in the south do light themselves on fire, eat weird things,etc...etc. okay maybe just jerm and his friends, but anyway this sight is pretty interesting, a lot better than the junk that is on tv most of the time. But one thing though Jerm you might wanna touch up on your photography skills they are kinda lousy. lol.
jk of course

Hey everybody. I'm Rachael from Knoxville, TN. I don't really remember how I met Jeremy (maybe through a joint friend), but I've known him for a long time. One day somebody was talking about his awesome photos and told me to check out Misconstrued...so I did. Jeremy...your photos are absolutely amazing and inspiring. I love photography...one day I hope to have the time to really study it like I want to...but in the mean time, I really love checking out your photography section. Keep it up...You've got a real talent. And this was a cool idea too. Everybody introducing themselves to everyone else. You can really feel the unity of Jehovah's organization when so many young people can come together from all over and enjoy good, clean entertainment. (speaking of clean fun...I too am anti-matchmaking site). Enjoy Bethel!

My name is Jeremy and I live in Huntsville now, (but I used to live in Philadelphia, and Auburn, and Reno, and Northern CA) I guess Im officially the other Jeremy, or Kim's Jeremy, or whatever confusing way you want to put it. Like Jeremy (this site's Jeremy), I work at NASA in Huntsville, but I work for a contractor not for NASA (which means I wear the blue badge instead of the yellow and actually have to work on a regular basis, unlike this site's Jeremy), but we both get the same great benifits at the Burger King here (no tax, and a free value meal after your card gets punched 5 times). Miscontsrued Thoughts is very entertaining, and I have been checking it out pretty regular lately. Its amazing that Jeremy has it continually updated and running so well, and I hope he keeps it up.

yo yo yo yo yo, this is adyre and I am soooo late on the telling about yourself thing. Hmmm...so I live in Madison, AL, from Sheffield, AL by way of Phoenix, AZ. I am in the West Huntsville Congregation (reppin' West til I D-I-E!!!!!!), and we are the bomb. So I love it here in Huntsville, everyone is so wonderful and so much fun to be around, its always encouraging to see one of my brothers/sisters faces. So I dont know about turning the whole website into a match making ordeal because, well, Jeremy DEFINATELY isnt going to go for that anyway (I know, he's my cousin) and that would totally not be in harmony with the coolness that is this website. However, (I am not a total party pooper there is another side to my comment) I am single and looking too so bring on the matchmaking, elsewhere that is. I'm not a supermodel but I did win a beauty pageant once upon a time, I am in the prime of my life (I am 19) and...well I dont know what else so, all interested candidates just email me ehehehehe, see, and I am funny too! I miiiisss you Jeremy! Be safe and dont play your guitar on the street outside Bethel please. AND I would like to send a special shout out to my homegirl, my roomie, and one of the best friends I have ever ever had, SHEENA GO-SHEA!!!! Yeah I know I will see you at home later but I am all about making you feel special throughout your day! Good day everyone!!!!

I haven't really gotten to know jerm that well at all but i can tell we are similar in at least one way , I'm crazy as well. And again I must quote kevin if you want to see some crazy stuff on july 2,3 than email us. It's tellico rocks the size of homes and trucks climb them as well as motorcycles etc. You probably seen it before on real tv ,just think this is your chance to possibly be on tv. anyway if you want to go you know what to do. MAN I sound like a politican.

ALSO D.A. I HOPE SOMETIME YOU CAN CALL ME BECAUSE MY INTERESTS IS WHITE SUPREMACY AND MY PET PEAVES ARE CHINCHILLA INEBREATION.

( but not me ) (( darc: yeah mom... you can make them believe that.. but not ur own flesh... ur a fruitcake )) i finally had to look at this website to see what all the hoopla is about. i see that all his misconstrued followers are as nutty as it's founder. and to think, i thought he was special!? well, guess i still do. i should have known he was going to be ingnious when at 1 1/2 yrs. i found him trying to get a toy tractor from beneath the bed using a coat hanger. i should have known he was going to be an entertainer when at 1 yr. he was a real ham,who tried to laugh his way out of trouble. and i should have known he was going to be a rocket scientist when at 5 yrs. he included outer space in his prayers. so Jerm keep on entertaining if it will keep you off the streets of New York. love mom !!!

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Adyre, and Jeremy and I discovered that we were cousins (well first we made it up, now we are convinced, and then we discovered that it could actually be true way way way down the line). I wish I could have come to TN a few weeks ago to meet you! But I shall make up for that later. Yes, I am also a nutty follower of Misconstruedthoughts, its great, and it keeps me occupied during those moments that I should be occupied with something worthwhile and then get on this site which is not really worthwhile but then it totally is because anything having to do with the genius that is Jeremy is worthwhile. Yeah I know I am tired too and that was a run on sentence. See, I proved my nutty-ness. Greetings Cousin Mom!

Hi guys and gals my name is Faith Foster and I'm from Gainesville, FL. I'm one of the few who can actually say that I was born and raised in Florida. I learned about the site from the soon to be wed Jake and his trusty sidekick Nick. I hope you have a wonderful trip in NY and come back with some juicy info from the headquarters!

Posted by: Daphy at June 18, 2004 02:50 PM

First off, I have to say: "I HATE YOU!" I have applied for temp work in the past, but I never did hear anything back. I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm female and CAD (Computer Aided Drawing) wasn't a skill that they really needed at the time. My aunt and uncle served at Brooklyn for awhile, before they had a bethel breaker(baby#1). So,Congratulations on your assignment and enjoy!

Since most of you don't know me, my name is Amanda Palmateer. I come from the small town of Grafton, West Virginia. (sigh...Yes, I have a full set of teeth.HaHaHa!)I have been here all 23 years of my life, of which the past 8 have been spent serving as a regular pioneer. And I am still LOVING it!

The JW match idea is a definite NO GO in my book. And I emphasize this is strictly my OPINION. While communicating via the computer may have its place, there is no substitute for having face-to-face contact with fellow christians. Computer communication leaves too much guess work. For example, How spiritual is the person? Do they appreciate the ministry? How do they treat older ones? children? What do they spend most of their time doing? If they're a brother, how does he treat his mother? Is he humble? Does he take the lead in service and in studying? Does he make wise decisions? If they're a sister, how does she treat her father and his headship? Is she respectful and submissive? Is she industrious within the home and the congregation? Are these things that can be determined over the computer? Absolutely NOT!

I now live in Knoxville, TN. I Started checking out the site as soon as it apeared in the internet world. A few weeks ago I went to the boring place of greeneville, to see some not so boring friends for megan's party. I ended up meeting the huntsvillians that came up w/ jerm. They were all cool and we had a good time crowding out Ryans (1 of 3 places to eat in greeneville) sunday after the mtg. Kevin & Josh count me in. Big trucks, big engines, more power, I'm so there! Oh yeah and there's a motocross race (The Inaugural Knoxville Short Track National) Friday June 25. If anyone wants to come just E-mail me.

Hello everyone, my name is Erin Roberts. I'm from Tallahassee, Florida. I also just graduated from nursing school. I met Jeremy a couple of years ago at a party in Tuscaloosa. Misconstrued thoughts is great!! I try to check it out everyday or so. It always brings a smile to my face, whether its Jerm's funny sense of humor(I guess you could call it that, j/k:), awesome photography, or his encouraging words. Keep it coming Jerm...Hope you are having a good time at Bethel, can't wait to hear all about it.

Bonjour! My name is Elizabeth Brewer. Most people don't know me personally...they know me via Rachel and Andrew Dominie(rachel's my older sister). I live in Smyrna, TN. Yes, I grew up around Jon Houser. That's why I turned out the way I did. Sorry guys. I'm only aquainted with a couple people on the site...sadly, I don't personally know this "Jerm" you speak of. BUT I shall! Maybe in the new system...
I came across this site because I heard through the grape vine(my friend Heidi) that there was some awesome hilarity to be had here. Ever since then, me and my best friend, Melissa, have been quite entertained. Thanks for the laughs..all you mysterious figments of my imagination.

Hey everyone, my name is Melissa Stojic. (pronounced "stoich") I live in Smyrna, TN along with Elizabeth. I am a fascinated observer of this site. I found out about it through both Heidi and Jon Houser. Sadly, I know only a select few of the "participants" of this site, but it's cool that we can all relate to eachother. It's amazing what Jehovah's organization can do.

Hi, I am the mother of the twins from VAncouver B.C. I first met Jeremy at our Kingdom Hall after a meeting. Nice theocratic boys that would come to a meeting!!! THEN my next sighting of him was when he blasted past me at 80kmph in a 50 kmph zone. To any of you not on metric that 50mph in a 30 mph zone. He was on his way to pick up my girls!! Hmmmm maybe I should re think the theocratic part :) For any one who doesn't know me I tend to be a little over protective so my advice to my girls when they are in Alabama next weeek is "STAY OUT OF JEREMY'S CAR!!!"

Posted by: polly at June 19, 2004 02:33 PM

Actually, for your daughter's safety, they'll want to avoid cars driven by these people in this prioritized order:
JARED!! (AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!)
Jeremy
Javann
There's more, but who am I to ruin the fun and excitement of realizing who speeds and who doesn't?

Howdy i am ben! And i am one of the many guys in Jeremy's hall.
Misconstrued Thoughts is a great site. All throughout school it provided comic relief. I was supposed to be working on stuff, but visiting the sites was much more funner. (I also never payed a lick of attention in english class) But anyways after busting a gut and classmates looking at me strangely, visiting the site developed into tradition. And yes, i will second the motion of the umm....... the rather "interesting" huntsville drivers. And Landstander J, speeding is not the only thing to consider in our driving. It is the not paying attention..... and watching DVD's while driving, (no names) that we have to worry about as well. Anyways, later yall!!

Hello, my name is Becky Jacobs and I live in Boone, NC. Although introduced once, I do not know Jeremy well. His cousin Jonathan is married to my sister, and there are other mutual friends and people I know in TN....a bizarre "friend of a friend of a friend" thing. Jonathan introduced us to this website when he showed my sister and I Jeremy's laundry video. Now I like to stop by when I want to break free from the mundane. I enjoy the ever-changing subjects and comments. I especially enjoyed the experiences from the international conventions.

Hey this is Josh from Brooklyn. I consider myself blessed to have just eaten holy pizza purchased by the good graces of the mastermind of everything we read here day by day by day.. Not only did he spur on the love of the christian brotherhood by showing hospitality to young and old alike this weekend, but he also taught us the most ludicrious "retard" dance I have ever had the notion of watching.. At very rare momment Jeremy even gave birth to his own head by preforming rare acrobatics in the subway. While in the midst of all of this he found a rare form of makeup to scare all the children with.. Maybe one day he will share the event with the world!!! Till then I stand eagerly on the edge of my seat....

Hi this is Ana. I've lived in Huntsville 2 yrs now, moved here from Florida. I met Jeremy when I posted a comment the first time I came to the site and then I remember receiving an email from him. They always had an interesting subject line. Well anyways since then he has been pretty entertaining...I am surprised he is still living today after walking on the couches at my house :^)
Hope you are having a good time in Bethel.

Jeremy look at all the places you made friends!!! Hi this is Christine from Brentwood, California! Noticed no one has posted from California, and I know he knows people from here. I met Jeremy last year camping in Yosemite. First impression I thought he was a little crazy. Okay lets be honest....he is!!! Then my sis, and I met up with him and his friends in Hawaii. Great guys and tons of fun. I would have to say that I have never met another person quite like him. As for the site don't post to much but I do check it out once in a while. My favorite would probably be the pictures. As for the JW-match thing bad idea-like someone said there is one already!!! and of I course agree with browneyedgirls ?'s! Well Jeremy hope you have tons of fun in Bethel. I'm sure you will have tons of awesome stories to tell everyone!!!

Posted by: Christine at June 21, 2004 12:23 PM

wow sis- u must be bored at work today! ;o)
yeah.. jeremy is def one-of-kind for sure. Few people i can say that i trust thier taste in music. We have had some interesting/fun times. Still, i think jeremy is certain that most everyone from Cali is completly depraved! ;op

i do believe that the creation of this website has been benificial to society in general... after all- it was this site that help me get over my fear of letting others read my poetry...and has been a place to express my other obscure ideas..as well as read other peoples obscure expressions
Sooo.. i guess what i am saying is --thanks-- for your contribution to this society that seems to be lacking in interesting/thinking people such as yourself.

enjoy your day everyone!

hi...its steph...jerms sis...the one he followed everywhere b4 he had his own public identity... he was "Steph's brother". Now I'm "Jerm's sister"....now without public identity myself I'd like to tell everyone that I DO EXIST...although you don't know me...I live in the NC mountains and still see my crazy bro ever so often....always an adventure. He got me so used to craziness that I had to marry someone quite crazy himself.

Jerm can do it all, wise, lots of good qualities....he is a good brother. I think this is already a site for people to meet each other without calling it the dating site. By the way...I'm taking bids on my brother. Any questions on the subject please feel free to write his sister for the real story. luvinchocolate@hotmail.com

I enjoyed, as I am sure you all did as well, our material to be considered at this week's bookstudy, and I would like to share something that truly touched me and certainly fit my situation after reading today's comments on the website. (From the "Draw Close to Jehovah" publication, pages 80 and 81 under the subheading "Spiritual Restoration-Why It Matters"): "As Isaiah foretold, "in the final part of the days," Jehovah has taught his worshipers the ways of peace. He has abolished warfare among us. Despite our imperfections, he helps us to put on "the new personality." He blesses our efforts with his holy spirit, which produces beautiful fruitage in us. (Ephesians 4:22-24; Galatians 5:22, 23) When you work in harmony with God's spirit, you are truly part of the spiritual paradise."
"Jehovah has gathered into this spiritual paradise the type of people that he loves-those who love him, who love peace, and who are "conscious of their spiritual need."(Matthew 5:3) Such are the people who will be privileged to witness an even more spectacular restoration- that of mankind and of the entire earth."

This comforted me today. Warfare among us can no doubt be exhibited through hurtful speech, in whatever form. Sometimes we may let our guard down around and about our spiritual family and forget that this all relates to the keeping of peace. Each person in our organization can contribute-or detract from the spiritual paradise and the peace that it is to so naturally exude. This responsibility does not come without rewards, for the material tells us that Jehovah blesses the efforts of those who strive to cultivate agreeable qualities, and this no doubt shows that we are considering our brother's interests and not just our own. If we have been offended or have had our feelings hurt, as we all have or have done to someone, then it is hard to keep exhibiting these qualities but the material also tells us that only those persons who continue to do this will inherit God's blessings. This is not a conditional responsibility but one we must carry out no matter the climate of the relationships we have with one another. Realizing that there IS someone better-each of our brothers and sisters is superior to us- will help us to take care of their feelings even more carefully than our own. Jehovah has drawn each of us for a reason, whether mere humans recognize that reason or not, so how much more so should we treat our spiritual family with honor. This is what I gathered from this week's information and I am certain that you and I will be working together to apply its meaning.

Posted by: Amber at June 23, 2004 12:36 PM

This site is a good way to meet the other of the 6 million brothers and sisters we have. I appreciate it. However, if you ask me, you might want to change the title. I get embarrased to talk about it in public; it sounds like a clotheless site, if you know what i mean. Well, I hope you enjoy your trip at Bethel. Bring back lots of pictures.

Posted by: CORTNEY BONE at June 23, 2004 02:08 PM

Actually, Cortney, uh, the site doesn't sound like a clothesless site. However, one of the first names would've been terrible. Jermzgonewild.com was my idea, and it would've had a big picture of Jerm pulling his shirt up in the background. Yeah, that would've been bad. I don't think it'd have been as popular as say, this site has been.

Posted by: Javann: Man of Many Thoughts at June 23, 2004 02:22 PM

Well I am sad to see that yesterday's bashing fest has continued, moving from myself to Jeremy. How about we put the armor down and settle down, eh? I will be glad when Jerm is back so he can stop this madness that has started. We love you Jeremy especially meeeeeeeee, thank you for "fixing" yesterday, I felt better just hearing your voice and have a good rest of the time at Bethel! Return home to us safely!!! And shout out to Cortney whats uuuuuup!!! Oh and Tre, did you eat out of that spoon again after the first time you put it on my foot? You are the guy with the like 30 second rule or whatever so I just wondered if you had done something gross like that...

geeyaww! amber just busted you out nathan. U were all like, "learn to spell." and then she's all like, "learn to spell yourself, fool!" show them my motto. Obey your thirst.

Posted by: yo mama at June 23, 2004 02:46 PM

So wait, are you like an unofficial spokesperson for Sprite? Does the unofficial spokesman for Wendy's know that you're biting his style? And what about Yo Yo ma? Does he know that you're playing his cello? And why should I "obey my thirst"? Isn't that just another cliche for "give some company who really doesn't quench your thirst properly money"?

Posted by: Today I Am More Than Javann Ever Was! at June 23, 2004 03:57 PM

beau, wow i thought i was dealing with a male. i dident realize i would hurt your feelings so bad. lord jerm would be proud of you for standing his ground. oh i will remain anonymous
cause it keeps you gussing.
who could it be?
Oh yeh what are you insinuateing on "grow a pair". some appreciate this sight because its clean and upbuilding. so keep the filth away.
my comment simply supported humility which according to jehovah is a very desireable quality.
hope your not questioning that by the way.
sorry for hurting your feelings. please forgive me.

Posted by: someonehurtmyfeelings at June 23, 2004 10:17 PM

So, anyways, no one "hurt my feelings." I just think that if one wishes to express his or her opinion, whether it be negative or positive, then the only responsible thing to do is post who said it. That way it doesn't lose its validity. Don't call people out and then hide from it. Thats all.
I didn't finish the "grow a pair" statement so that it would be kept clean. I knew that you could probably use your imagination, which you did, and I commend you for it. However, if you are so "holy" and "humble" why is it your fellow brothers and sisters "make you sick?"
I am not sure if Amber busted me out or Tre, but if so, then I will respond to her question. No I do not believe that I am perfect. Nor do I believe that I am better than anyone else. I have misspelled a word or two occasionally but not too often. You can go back and check. My whole point is that if you have an opposing opinion, fine. But just try to make it sound a little intelligent.
By the way, the "dealing with a male" statement, that hurt. It really hurt. I was not standing "Lord Jerm's" ground, but that of my own and I do not question that humility is a very desirable quality.

Hey I wasn't telling him to learn to spell. I was just saying not to pick on other people when they make mistakes.

Posted by: Amber at June 24, 2004 07:04 AM

Okay, Amber, I'll admit to picking on the anonymous for their misspelled words. The only reason I can think of why you are so defensive of "yo mama" is that it must be your significant other and if so, then I apologize to you.
However, "yo mama" blatantly "picked-on" everyone on this site by his one post and then hid in the shadows.
But alas, my grievance is not with you or with anyone really. I just find the whole thing to be rather humorous.
In order to make amends, allowe myselff too aupherr up this uhpaulogee.

Posted by: Noonehurtmyfeelings at June 24, 2004 11:21 AM

O.k, o.k. what in the world, I was on yesterday and saw the comments on this site. Are we all not imperfect people, with many faults. I commend Jerm for his site, it can really be encouraging at times. I do agree with my sister though on the name, it does sound like something clothless, because everytime I mention it to a older one they look very shock. Before me explaining. It really surprised me at how people are saying all these bad things but are not showing their faces, or telling their names. If you don't like someone for what ever reason why make that known to everybody, its not their problem its yours!!! So for the brother that made the comment about Adyre, and for who ever made the comment about Jeremy look at yourself in the mirror. Remember the scripture in the Bible when it says to "Look at the rafter in your own eye in not the tiny straw in your brothers. We are all trying to get to the same place, why are we tripping each other up by hurtful comments. For the brother who said those things, and for whoever said the things about Jeremy, Look at the image in the mirror the next time you want to trip your DEAR BROTHER or SISTER up. Let me make a shout out to my West congregation homeyyy Adyre and my International homeyy Jeremy, who by applying love have not let comments like those get to them. I would also like to say Whats up! to my sister, a.k.a. Browneyed Girl a.k.a J-lo, Gina. And my blood sister always for love Cortney. Lets keep everything real and in love!!

Whuzzzzzup Ash!!!! Good looking out! Good day everyone, well actually it would be a better day if it wasnt raining and if I wasnt supposed to be doing my Cal A homework right now buuuuuut thats another story. So in the spirit of Creative Writing Thursday, and yes I know its Friday but I didnt get to get online yesterday, I would like to type this poem so that I may let off some frustration please. It's entitled Deceit...

Four years and nothing had changed...
Not my feelings, not my mind, not my heart...
And apparently not yours either...
No, I am not implying feelings of adoration...
But the deceit that you once had and the person you always will be...
How foolish I temporarily was...
You almost pulled another one over on me...
You told me you felt the same yet you had, HAVE, feelings for another...
How is it that you are still able to lie to one, who is your "brother"...
Was it fair to me? And is it fair to HER now?
Will you forever be a "man" who forces the one you're with to share your adoration with another?
Now I see that one reason I wanted you was to save you from a hopeless situation of wanting someone who is unattainable for you...
And your sights are still set high...
Because I am sure she is unattainable for you also...
So now I can finally say in truth that I am over you...
All these years and all the pain of mistaken others along the way...
And now I am over you...
No my feelings are not hurt...
You will not get the satisfaction of that accomplishment...
But I just wanted you to know that I discovered your game plan, and called a time out...
How thankful I am for common sense and for discernment...
Because you could tell that I was never really sure of you...
But one thing I am certain of, there will NEVER be a "we"...
There is no hope for you and there is no chance for you to be the one for me...
And if you plan to continue to be pushy, weird, cheap, unattentive, neglecting, spiteful, self-centered, and deceitful...
Then you will always be alone.

Posted by: Cortney Bone at June 25, 2004 07:10 PM

On that note, and purely out of curiosity, how does Misconstrued Thoughts sound like the name of a "clotheless site"? I'm not seeing the correlation.

Posted by: Captian Jonathan!!! at June 26, 2004 07:48 AM

The situation was one that you'll never understand,
you see the thing that made me a man,
was that I was completely taken by you.
My emotions ran so deep that everything I say and everything I do,
still rings so deep into what was me.
You couldn't see?
That you were everything I wanted to be.
But then you decided you were too good for me,
that you were single and didn't need,
some man who's emotions were never hidden from plain view.
I never did all you wanted me to do,
but I tried.
I never lived how you want me to,
but when you left I died.
Someone else had my heart,
and from the very start,
I told you how I'd felt,
but then that feeling left,
and pretty soon it was just you there.
I wanted to be part of your life,
make you my wife,
but you weren't satisfied.
I was never sure because I could tell from day three,
that before long there would no longer be,
a "we".
You got what wanted now you go for more?
You want to see me bleed, dying here on the floor?
You want to see my cry, do you want to see my die?
SO you can feel as if you were so justified?
Impute false motives on my actions if that helps,
if justice never prevails,
I wish you'd tell,
me why I couldn't sleep for weeks?
Why I'd lay in bed trying not to be weak?
But you got what you wanted and I'm alone.
Keep in mind that I'm grown,
and if I die by myself and least I'm not with you.

Javann, I just want to say that I am one of those rare people that has a geniune interest in Poetry - in fact you might say that I am a student of poetry. This is pretty obvious by my handle - after all, who would be nicknamed after an 18th Century poet that died at 25 of TB? Only me, I guess. But anyways, regardless of the rest of the poem you wrote, the last line was without a doubt a tremendous statement. All I saw was the last line and I knew the poem was worth reading - the one line carried that much weight. I won't critique the rest of the poem - that's not my place - but to anybody that may have actually read this far in my post please read the poem. Many poets, great or not, can write their entire lives and not pen a single line that hits home as well as this.

Posted by: keats at June 26, 2004 06:43 PM

It is quite a striking line. I thought so too even before I saw your post Seth (and I'm one of those popular people who have no interest in poetry. I do, however, have an interest in the craft of words in general). It sums up the poem as a whole, I think. It's like getting beaten down with, say, some basket balls and then when it's all over, boom, you get hit with a rock. In the face, mind.

And now back to watching the Jackie Chan cartoon.

Posted by: Captian Jonathan!!! at June 26, 2004 06:59 PM

That's a good point Jon.... Jackie Chan does have an interesting cartoon. And what you said about the whole rock in the face bit was right on too. Where have you been by the by? I've been trying to get in touch with you - I miss you man....

I miss you too, dude. Tear. I'm looking forward to catching up next week. That is if I'm there since Tony doesn't have a room for me to stay in anymore. So we'll see how that goes.

Yeah anyway I've been working and all that but that's done now. Things'll go back closer to normal now. If you wanna get in touch just e mail me or call. Like old times.

You miss him. What about me? Your own flesh and blood. You don't even mention me. I didn't even get to see you last time I was there. What nerve. I'm deeply hurt. Why don't you love me? What's wrong with me. Wasn't I good to you?

Yeah I miss you! I wish you'd get off your butt and move back here so I wouldn't feel so guilty when you come over to visit and I get sick so I can't see you over the weekend. And as for feeling deeply hurt..... you'll get over it. But I do miss you and do love you and kev-o and 'kenzie (of course). I just haven't seen jon in like 3 months.....

Actually, yes I do know who Keats is and I'm rather fond of him. As far as hard hitting lines, uh, thanks but that was written in total anger. About what? Long story. Glad you liked it.

It's all good Javann. Everyone who's been through that sort of thing can relate. Oh, you ever read anything by Don Delillo? Really, really good.

OK, well i return home finally. Back to where I can check email, find the good deals, and keep up with the latest.

Remember, as "Thumper" in Bambi used to say, "If you cant say anything nice, dont say nothing at all".

And with that thought I'll bring this post to an end. BTW... if you ever have something personal to ask/tell or discuss with someone, talk to them in person, just a lil good advise for peace in everyones life.

Glad to be back, catch everyone later.
