Voice cracking, he suddenly spat the words, with eyes red and wild, "It can happen and has, I swearswearswearI'veseenit. Just look at the pictures!"

And they jumped slightly, looking at him strangely, as love rarely changes ones demeanor so oddly unless they live without and long to find it.

Am I missing something Jeremy?

Posted by: D.A. at May 6, 2004 01:24 PM

I dont know? maybe a sock? I mean we all have one sock in ourdrawer which we cant find the mate to... So I would feel safe to answer... yes you are missing something.

I can't think of anything to write
I've got this mental block.
Nothing in my world I'd term right,
And I can't find any of my socks.
I don't have the opportunities you do,
but that doesn't mean,
that I'm not still better than you.
But one thing that you can say it does mean,
is that I'll never be remembered
as somebody who doesn't know me at all
soon after my life is dismembered
I'm sure that you all will recall,
that it was nothing if not funky,
cool, fresh never braggadocious,
more curious than George the monkey
with a style that was quite attrocious.
I legalize all modern commodity commerce,
with gold pressed latinum,
and leave the universe completely immersed,
in reverse labeled platinum.
Sometimes I feel so nice
I want to jump back and shout
dance around as if I have lice,
Wait. . .I forgot what I was talking about.

I don't have anything to contribute just yet, but know this, Jeremy. My last visit to your house inspired me to write a short story. It is not yet finished, I am still in the process of editting, shaping, forming, caressing, the materials that I have laid down. But soon, my muse, soon it will be finished.

Wow, and looking at your poem, it seems very timely. They go hand in hand. Anyway, I'll send it to you when I'm finished. Which should be soon.

Jon-I am sooo upset that you came down and I had to work that whole entire weekend! I was sooo looking forward to meetin you. Oh well, maybe next time, that is if my cousin lets me know when he is having company next time JEREMY!
By the way Jerm, did you get my text message last week?

I so didnt get to post last Thursday so I am hereby redeeming myself for the sake of my fans...alright alright, fan.

Speaking is such a privilege
But some abuse it to belittle.
Better than me, higher above me?
Never.
Not because I am elevated, but because we are all lowly.
Think before you speak.
For the words you release can shape your future and my feelings.
Can affect all of my dealings.
And then I sigh.
Why have I put you on a pedestal so high?
Why do I allow you to well up my eyes right before I begin to cry?
Think before you speak.
Am I the one you sought because the one you fought (so hard for),
Did not reply?
Am I the one that has put your head in the sky?
Oh dear one, please be honest
Because if so, this feeling is not one to keep.
Think before you speak,
Because you're losing me.

Aaaaw, I'm sorry. I didn't even know you lived in that area. Well, I guess next time. I think I may be down there later this month for a party or something I got invited to. We'll see. Oh well.
