Lea and Judi Friday Eh?

IMG_1740 (Small).JPG

LeJudJerm? Ah it has been said before I am the missing one to complete the triplet trinity of LeJudJerm... True? Well not sure about that. But Lea and Judy are definitly the Most Misconstrued of Candada eh?

This week I broke down and got a home phone... (OK... Its not a normal phone for those gasping... it works through the intrenet (down with the phone companies)) The beauty of this is I can call anywhere in the world for virtually nothing... in fact I can call Canada for nothing. Since its been a year, I gave ol LeJud (They will be refered to by this collective term this point forward) a call. Ah no doubt the surprise and confusion for them. (Always the intsertion of What? I cant understand your accent). Ah but to hear that British Colubia accent, took me back.

For as any non local visits the south you have to give them the full concept of what its about. You know, putting peanuts in your coke, drinking a Dr. Enuf, having some BBQ, visiting the music city, (as well as NASA).

Ah good times. And these gals are talented too... I just got some pics from them (posted in the future) Lea is a great photographer (and from the pics looks like Jud is a great snowboarder). [oops i did say i was going to use Lejud from that point on... ok... this point on...]

Also they sent me a card last week... (its rare i get mail so this is a major event). And sent fed ex none the less. Now you would think getting a "Its a boy" card or something of that nature would be rare... but actually this is my fourth (one from my congregation when i moved, one from relatives, one from friends here, one from canada)... subliminal messages? I dont know what it is...

But tis LeJud Friday Eh? So use Eh? as much as you can today for Eh? is the greatest word ever created and a great way to pay tribute to LeJud ... Eh?

Add your comments ... Eh?

The Canadians...they infiltrate everything.

So, do you guys eat at Captain D's often? Did you like Conan Obrien's show's from Toronto? How's it like having a drinking age of 19?

I have never heard of putting peanuts in your coke. but i wasn't born in the south. Oh well. Off to the store for some planters nuts and a 20 oz.

Congrats girls on your day. I miss ya'll already. I have to tell the folks though, about your "drinking faux paus." I have seen these twins in action. (Aka Juju and Billy-Jo. Appears they have many aliases.) The only thing that I couldn't understand was why, and who in the world, (even Canada) would chase moonshine with a Red Dog? I mean, come on..... What an insult to the Good-ole boys from the hollers of the Appalachians and their fine mountain grown liquid. Maybe they didn't know, I aint sure. But, even a mountain-boy from Colorado knows that some things are just sick and wrong. But, we're forgivin folks, too. And the hospitality of the Schedel's is legendary, so we can let it slide......This time. :0) Enjoy your day, Juju and Billy-jo. (P.S. Go Avalanche!)

LeJud eh? I've known those two for about a year, and they're always up for anything. Well almost anything. Thanks to them I've drank internationally, and don't worry Jerm, they made fun of my accent to, not just yours eh? Of couse, eh, they're good people, eh. I wasn't going to stoop to the obvious, but someone has to do it eh? LeJud, I hardly knew what you were all aboot before I knew the Le part of LeJud hated me. I mean I knew it. She told me later she didn't, but eh? Uh. . .I just confused myself. Eh? Yep, LeJud, bringing hockey, good beer, and international fun to a city near you. Eh.

Canadians eh? Congratulations on making the headlines girls. I had an awesome time there visiting with you girls, and all your friends. But let me share with you friends some things to do or not to do while visiting Canada.(Lessons Learned) (1.) If you decide to car pool with friends (6 or more people) make sure you have a big trunk to hide in if the cops pull you over and ask how many people are in the car. And if you decide to take hunting knives for some camping in the back country, never place them in the glove compartment, just in case the cops pull you over and ask for the car's registeration. (2.) If you stop to take pictures of a black bear, make sure you can get back to your truck without getting attacked, and if you get a bluff charge and still manage to get away safely, count your blessings and call it a day. (3.) If you go to a place that has 209 flavors of ice cream, you must smell the ice cream before you eat it. (caution) if it smells like oil or grease. DO NOT EAT! You've been warned!(Sorry don't remember that flavor) (4.) To avoid a car accident in Canada, Yield to ALL CHINEESE DRIVERS. Trust me, its for your own safety. Just remember this advice if your travels take you to Canada. And, if while your there, they; (the Canadians);ask you more than once where your from, and you say, Tennessee. Well chances are they are getting a kick out of hearing you say that, and your ascent.

Judes and Lea have been my closet friends for 5 years now and they are the nicest girls out there.....even if they cant let go of me being american ....it has been five years. I have so many stories i wouldnt know where to start....well ok i do know where to start .....sorry im indecisive........judi and i have some great stories......but one with the fondest memories is the time judi and i where over at our friends house and i was feeling a little damper......thanks for the shoulder judes ........oh and one more story before you had your true license...... the time you crashed my car and caused an 8000 thousand dollar accident......must say im still laughing about that one.....haha.......and lea well one time i took them for a lil trip down i-5 and lets just say i told there mom we'd be back at a reasonible hour ......well when lea called her at 4am she passed the phone right over to guess who yup me......and lets just say i couldnt hang out with them for quite a while ......thanks lea appreciate that......nah im kidding these girls are as you americans would say "creme of the crop"......i dont know why americans would say that but i think they do so.........well judes and lea i love you guys............as does everyone else..........

I too have many fond memories. The 3 of us got bapitized together and that's how this all began. After losing their phone #, i bumped into them at a concert and couldn't remember which twin was which. So i must say, they're some of my oldest friends (almost 5 years eh?)They had also just finished taking hip-hop dancing lessons, so they had to befriend a black guy (myself) in order to graduate the course. Judes, gotta remember the time we had to jump start your beast car while pretending to be husband and wife in our service clothes. I've never been so close to high voltage electrocution. i can still see those sparks fly. Dimps (Lea, for y'all down south), the best memory is when we were camping and you got up and crouched over the fire just in time for me to say "I like lookin at the back o dat!!" in front of the family. I was talking about the turned over log in the fire, but you know what everybody thought...

Dawn? The Great Newfie Legend? Good to see you made it to work alive and well... ( I hope.) I realize that one of the best things about hangn out w/ Juju & Lele is that you meet really cool people. At least I hope that's why they tolerate my company....(?) So, Dawn, take care of the girls, they'll take care of you, and remember not to take any of their crap just 'cuz you're from NEWfoundland!!!!! And Polly, I'm not sure where to start...... I'm born and raised in the west.... And buying shots for someone is a symbol of appreciation for their fine company and respect for their friendship.... But, I'm a little lost after the Wild-Turkey-Tabasco incident.... I mean, does it count the same, when the whole idea is to try to give them the worst possible taste for days, and burn their internal organs into oblivion???? Fortunatley for me, I've... Let's just say, become accustomed to attempts to kill me in various, sometimes crazy/kamikaze ways. So, that leaves one question? Did I foil an attempt by the Canadian mafia,(namely Juju and Lele)to send me to Boot Hill early? Or do I reagard the occasion as an honor and a priveledge to spend time w/ twins that appreciate my company enough to buy me a shot? (Even if they failed to kill me....this time)I'll not sleep until I've found an answer.

Seeing a pretty picture of a girl with peanuts in her coke makes this odd southern tradition more believable, but no less weird..
