What if the sea of crimson that flowed into Bryant-Denny Stadium through the fall season was clad with the abbrasion of Tennessee Orange?
This weekend I visited the A game. A preseason Alabama game where Albama has lose every year it has happened. (Some would say they have won every year, but its just perspective). This year was no different. However through my eyes I wondered what the stadium would look like if all the fans were clad in Tennessee Orange. Ugly? More so yes. Dramatic? More so yes. But one thing seems seemed certain. Alabama did not look extremely impressive. But the Alabama campus was an impresively clean neat campus. (Oh and I finally understand the A which I was always thinking was an Atlanta braves symbol in the wrong color).
So no dont adjust your monitor. Misconstrued is still home to a Tennessee fan, but that wont prevent me from visiting a good ol A game with "Orange Tinted Glasses". But my real question, why is it "Tennessee Orange" at least Alabama's Crimson makes sense.

Posted by: itzjerm at March 22, 2004 11:09 AMI heard once that orange is the color of success. Maybe it was from a fortune cookie.

Posted by: Erin at March 22, 2004 02:44 PMFlorida State? The university so pathetic that they have to put a state behind Florida? Is there a Florida city? No, so why is there a state behind Florida? Oh because the other university already took Florida, and we don't want to even IMAGINE what it'd be like to change our names to something else. Meh. Orange tinted glasses. . .heh heh heh.

"Friends are like chocolate chips; it is always good to keep them close at hand"
Posted by: D.A. at March 22, 2004 03:17 PMSo that they will melt in your hand? I'm confused...
Posted by: itzjerm at March 22, 2004 03:21 PMSo you can eat them at your own convenience?
Posted by: Why, Look Its Javann at March 22, 2004 04:09 PMHmm,... I can not eat chocholate. I am lactose intolerant... Does that mean I am allergic to my friends?
Posted by: Opal the Psychotic at March 22, 2004 04:10 PMonly if you eat them... but that would be bad any way you could contract Kuru the cannibal disease (never heard of it? look it up)
Posted by: itzjerm at March 22, 2004 04:40 PMI think I'll stick to eating my veggies.
Posted by: Opal the Psychotic at March 22, 2004 07:03 PMAnd I to my cannibalism. It's the RULE!!!

Posted by: D.A. at March 22, 2004 09:51 PMActually Javann there is a Florida City. Sorry to disappoint. It's down near Homestead. I guess you'd have to be from Florida to understand that while Florida University got the name first they are actually just "hardcore posers", as Jon puts it. I mean any idiot could put Florida and Gators together, while only true Floridian genious could be so wise as to stress the fact that the entire state of Florida is backing this particular school - not to mention the fact they added culture to the mascot by giving it the backing of the Seminole tribe (even though today they're pretty ticked and are trying to make the state change the mascot to a Panther or Jaguar). So, there's today's useless history lesson of Florida and my beloved Florida State Seminoles. And where should they go, Jeremy? All the way to the National Championship.
Posted by: keats at March 23, 2004 09:34 AMIt figures Seth would get the subject on Flordia State. Why though can you find the time to put comments on this useless site and not find the time to talk to me? I'm at the computer all morning long and you haven't said one thing to me. I'm hurt....but FSU does rule!
Posted by: Amber at March 23, 2004 09:32 PMHey... what? Useless site? This is a family in its own! And the culture thing... yeah doubt any indians would agree with ya on that one.
Posted by: itzjerm at March 24, 2004 07:48 AMGoing to T-Town was about the smartest thing you ever done, Jeremy. I'll take you to a REAL GAME next year in T-Town. Better than any FSU or VOL game. ROLL TIDE!!!!!
Posted by: buff at March 24, 2004 03:06 PM'Bama isn't rolling anywhere but over. It's probably not even the best football program in Alabama right now. In fact, it's probably not even in the top 5. I mean, what kind of Football Team names itself after a monthly female emotional breakdown anyhow?
Posted by: keats at March 24, 2004 08:53 PMHaha, sports bring up the weirdest subjects: fortune cookies, genetic mutations, chocolate, cannibalism, conspiracies, indians, and female hormones all in one conversation!
