...Trail of Dead - Source Tags & Codes (2002)

As I have warned before, don’t be afraid of the group name, true it sounds as if you should. But this is a great album with nothing to fear (but fear itself). Mood Swingers will particularly like this album. Such variety in mood in one album, which actually flows perfectly. It all Starts with piano music that leads up to a concert? No to groovy surf music. Then what? How about a little accordion music to get your ready for some Heavy Music about love in It was there I saw You with calm peaceful moments to contemplate what has been heard and experienced. (Much like life). It has it all including theatrical drums to set the mood. The album continues through this procession, of Change with deep sounds to be found, for those surreal moments, Which can then be broken by nightmare like moments. Not the nightmares which are surreal, but those which are the nightmares you think are really happening, which are bad, but not horrible. But in the end after cleansing your system of every mood, peace is found as the album takes you out on a set of peaceful string arrangements. Get this album and cleanse your mood system.
